...Care antiseptic first aid cream I always like to keep some kind of antiseptic cream in the house and in the car ready for cuts and grazes. This is basically an antiseptic cream which can be used for minor burns abrasions and nappy rash and is suitable for use on children and adults. Although it doesn?t state it on the packaging, I assume also that it can be used on cuts and grazes, so have been using it effectively of Little Miss?s knees, both of which are grazed at the moment. The cream itself is packaged in a box with the instructions on the sides, and inside the box is, as expected, a 30g tube with a screw on/off lid. There is the usual spike on the top of the lid which I use to pierce the foil protector, and then i can get to the cream. ...I would just like to offer my own views in an own brabd, which is of course Boots Total Care Smile Antiseptic Mouthwash (cool mint). Costing £1.95, it comes in what would appear to be a green coloured plastic bottle. But the green is in fact the colour of the mouth wash, as the actual bottle once you start to use the prpoduct will find to be made of a clear plastic. This mouthwash does the job just like any other top branded name would, but is more or less half the price - and does the job just as effectively! On the side of the bottle, it claims to kill bacteria; gives you long lasting plaque protection, and helps to freshen breath. As the name points out, this particular mouth wash has a cool mint taste to it. There is another flavour, but this does in fact escape me at this time. But the cool mint is a long lasting taste...

...feel the benefits. It also helps to stop bleeding very quickly. They also produce an Antiseptic Spray and this is solely for wounds. It’s very easy to use and has immediate results. Although a bit expensive its worth having around. Also use it for the laundry and for washing the lavatory, sinks and the floor. We even use it when washing our dog. We add a few cupfuls to a bucket of water and first wash the dog with this mixture. This helps kill the fleas and the ticks and is also good for their skin, as they tend to always end up getting little sores all over themselves. Overall it is really a very versatile antiseptic and disinfectant. Some people might think the smell to be a bit overpowering or hospital like. This might be true if you have recently starting using it. However regular users will soon get used to it...

Total Care for your whole mouth

...Since my wisdom teeth came through a few years ago, I've had nothing but trouble with one particular tooth, it has only pushed halfway up and doesn't want to come through anymore, so I kept getting infections in there no matter how well I brushed! ...This review is on one of the most rewarding, yet most undervalued job that there can ever be. And I've done some! First off, lets' take a look at the disadvantages. The work is not at all valued, which is shown in the number of hours that people work alonsgide the low rate of pay that is offered. Many care homes regardless of whether they are privately owned or are a part of a bigger company, will generally pay the national minimum wage or just slightly higher for health care assistants - a pittance for what they do, which I don't like one bit. However, council run establishments may pay more because after all what else can they do with our money. As noted, another downfall is that of having to do shift work. Starting times vary anything from around 7 in the morning, and finishing times normally at around 10 at night for day...

...I would just like to write a review on working as a carer out in the community, although this can also apply to actual registered nurses (such as district nurses, but for the purpose of this review I shall stick to carers.). So what is it? As the name would suggest, it is people who work out in the community giving care to people - whether it be in their own homes, or perhaps in sheltered housing. It may even take place at a centre, if there are a small number of people who wish to meet together. However, this may cause a few issues re health and safety etc so this is not advisable. So it happens it a person's home, and the person giving the care can do anything from assisting the person in or out of bed; cooking for them, or simply doing some light housework and/ or shopping for them. Caring for the Elderly

Disadvantages: when the residents die it`s heartbreaking

...shifts by doing activities with the residents, then at nights the night staff would serve tea/coffee and biscuits, and put the residents to bed. Staff on duty There was always a staff nurse on duty during the day, to make sure everything would run smoothly and to administer medications needed, most of the Nurses also done there fair share of work during the day. So with a staff nurse and three care assistants on, looking after 18 residents was`nt to hard. BEST ANTISEPTIC CREAM ON THE MARKET! REALLY WORKS!

...This product is great! I bought this antiseptic in the hope of it recovering my finger which was badly burnt and it certainly did the job. I am a pianist and play the piano full time and is so absoloutely neccesary for me to have my fingers working properly. It is at a very reasonable price and is easy to apply. It absorbs into the skin well and doesnt wash off easily. You can feel the stuff working just minutes after application. I would reccomend this to anyone for use as just a general antiseptic.
