...Introduction
************
Disney?s Typhoon Lagoon has been open since 1988. It has been regarded as the number 1 theme parks for the last few years running and has continued to do so.
Playing the Part
******************
All of Disney?s theme parks always have a theme which is a story to how the park came to be or something to bring children?s imaginations to life. Typhoon Lagoon follows the story that there is a massive storm that takes place and various objects, buildings and boats such as Miss Tilly get blown to a new location where it creates Typhoon Lagoon.
Attractions
*************
Castaway Creek ? The Castaway Creek covers the entire park making a very large circle that takes 20 minutes for a person to get around under the speed of the current. The circuit consists of five different landing that people can get...

Marooned in Typhoon Lagoon
Advantages: Fun, lots to do
Disadvantages: A bit pricey
...The first theme park on my trip to Orlando was Typhoon Lagoon. I had last been there in about 1992 so was interested to see it again. Typhoon Lagoon is part of the Disney family and was opened in 1989. The idea behind the park is that it was created as the result of a huge storm which caused the rapids to form and the boats to be blown there from a nearby fishing village. As with everything Disney, this is another land of make believe!
LOCATION:
Typhoon Lagoon is part of the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. You can reach Disney World many ways, although we used hire car. Driving there is very simple and Walt Disney World is signposted straight off the I4 (the main road passing through Orlando). The nearest airport is Orlando International, to which many airlines fly direct from the UK. You can get shuttles from...

Blue Lagoon Iceland
Advantages: Relaxing and breath taking
Disadvantages: Expensive
...The Blue Lagoon in Iceland is an experience that cannot really be described without being there first hand, but I will try no less to tell you about this lovely place.
Location / Getting There
------------------------------
The Lagoon is based in the middle of nowhere in Iceland; it is about a 35-40 minute drive from Reykjavik via road, and is a short detour past Keflavik airport.
The only way to the Lagoon is via road as I stated, there are regular departures from Reykjavik Excursions BSI bus terminal daily or there are other excursions from different tour operators.
The actual Lagoon is literally in the middle of nowhere in the depths of the beautiful Icelandic landscape. The surrounding area is barren and reminded me of what I would expect the moon to look like. There are a few mountain ranges within view and besides...

Make a splash at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
Advantages: Great fun and gret rides
Disadvantages: Long queues and lack of dining facilities
...What is Typhoon lagoon?
It's one of Disney's three water parks at Walt Disney World (WDW) and in my opinion definitely the best with the best rides and the most fun theme! Legend has it that Typhoon Lagoon was formed when a typhoon hit Florida and left the water behind and has left a ship struck on top of a hill (watch it when the ship blows!!)
Getting into the park is great fun as you walk through a rain forest before you arrive in a magical tropical town (if you squint you could almost be in the Bahamas!!)
What is there to do?
There is a really good mix of activities here for all ages.
If you are feeling very brave then ride the water slides. The Humunga Kowabunga speed slides really do test the bravest adults and children and are absolutely awesome. Tip: Don't ride this straight after lunch and make sure your swim...

The blue lagoon
Advantages: very relaxing, could spend all day in it
Disadvantages: in the middle of nowhere
...I love Iceland and what better a way to start a trip the land of fire ice than a trip to the blue lagoon. Its beautiful warm blue waters in the open air of Iceland, theres nothing quite so refreshing.
Last September we arrived in Iceland in the snow and then got told that our first trip would be to an outside swimming pool, doesn't sound so great so far but believe me it is fantastic.
The blue lagoon is a lake created by the waste water from a geothermal power plant, doesn't sound very clean, but its actually a perfectly renewable and clean form of energy. The blue colour is perfectly natural, i believe it is something to do with algae which changes the colour of the water but not entirely sure. seeing as the water has been deep down in the ground for thousands of years being heated by magma, as a result it is very warm...

Typhoon Lagoon
Advantages: Safe for the whole family and lots to do
Disadvantages: Swimming can only be done so long
...is the star attraction and it is wonderful how they have managed to fit everything around this great idea.
There are many rides that you can go on with groups or individuals as you swing your way down the flumes to the bottom. At Typhoon lagoon you also are able to scuba dive to the coral reef as the have a filled fish coral reef within the park . There are laso attractions for the young memebrs of the family aswell which makes it a great place for the whole family....

Dermalogica skin hydrating mask
Advantages: It lasts ages and helps replenish moistuer
Disadvantages: nothing
...I love this Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Mask 75ml. Instead of wearing moisturiser every day I apply this only ONCE a week instead of a normal moisturiser which I'd has to apply every day and it
Restores my moisture and totally gets rid of dry skin.
This product contains Calming botanical extracts of Bitter Orange, Hops, Cucumber and Arnica reduce inflammation, while antioxidant Vitamins A, C and E and Pro-Vitamin B5 help replenish the skin.
This product is defaintly great for people who suffer in the winter with their skin as its a very fast reacting forumale which means as soon as you get dry skin you can repair it with this amazing product.
Most products I find seem to make my eye area sting as it's a lot delicater but this product is perfect for people with a sensitive eye area like myself.
The product is fragrance free I...

HYDRATE MY SKIN PLEASE?
Advantages: HYDRATES, REDUCES LINES, MAKES SKIN BALANCED = PERFECT
Disadvantages: NOTHINGG
...What does the promo say?
Pamper and treat your skin with the luxurious Mural Hydrating Gel Mask. It replenishes, restores, and revitalizes the skin with intense moisturizing ingredients. Your skin will be less dry, and irritated, as well more smooth and resilient.
Information on product :)
I paid £13 for this product.
This product is for all skin types, whether your skins dry, oily combination it really doesn't matter!
I would defiantly recommend this product however to people with dry skin, I have combination skin and so sometimes my skin can get dry and this is truly a life saver it boosts moisture to the maximum.
A great advantage of buying this product is the mask has many features. It has humectants that bind water to the skin, which plump up fine lines and soften texture.
After I've used this product my skin is...

Thermal hydration?
Advantages: Lathers easily, leaves skin feeling clean
Disadvantages: No aroma and no noticeable hydration
...I love a bargain, I love trying out new products and I love the colour turquoise so I was easily persuaded to try out Palmolive Thermal Spa Hydrating Shower Gel when I saw it as a 'buy one get one free' offer in Tesco the other day. I got two products from the Thermal Spa shower gel range for £1.79 which I thought was pretty reasonable.
The product comes in a clear plastic bottle which allows you to see the thick gel inside. It looks substantial not like some the very thin shower gels and it certainly sits comfortably in my shower puff without running through it to enable me to get a good lather from a relatively small amount of gel. I must confess that I wasn't impressed by the cap on the bottle which felt flimsy and I doubt will stand up to regular use without becoming detached and there is no way of hanging up this bottle so...

Clarins Hydration
Advantages: really nice
Disadvantages: bit pricey
...my skin rather than irritates it. I have normal skin, but I have in the past had problems with brands such as Clinique because of the chemicals that are contained in their products.
Clarins products are available in every department stores and boots, they often have special offers, but I would recommend if you are not keen on paying this much to ask for a few samples in order for you to see what effect it has on the skin.
I would recommend this as a product because it really does feel that it hydrates my face for the whole day and helps to keep my make up on too, which is quite important....
