Carlisle's Premier Italian restaurant?

Advantages: Near theatre, great service, massive menu, beautiful fresh food, happy hour menu

...For my Mother's birthday I bought a ticket for her to see Cabaret, the live tour. Of course she couldn't go alone, so I bought myself one too. We decided to make a real night of it by eating out first. Adriano's in Carlisle was the perfect choice being just 2 minutes away from the venue. My mother suggested this restaurant, I hadn't been before but she had on a couple of occasions and had been impressed. I was happy to go along with her recommendation as she usually chooses well, and she didn't let me down on this occasion either. The Travelodge is right beside the southbound motorway between junctions 41 and 42. There is access from each side of the motorway and you have to drive under to motorway from the northbound side. It is 8 miles from Carlisle PRICE ++++++ We paid £50 for a non-smoking room which we booked online back in February. The current price is £51 or £54. ...Released for the 07/08 this Carlisle United home kit features a slightly different design to previous kits. Carlisle United, a club associated with Blue as their colours have had a plain blue top (not including sleeves or trim here) for around the last 5, 6 years, but this new kit, made by Le cog Sportif took a slightly different approach. This kit features three colours, With a blue area on the left, with white next to that and with the red trim (its an extended trim) on the right hand side. These sections are cut diagonally and run all the way down into the shorts aswell. The sleeves are blue. The kit therefore is not Symettrical colour wise like most kits, but personally I think it looks great. ...Who better to tell you about Carlisle, than a born and bred Carlislean?!! Everything there is to know about Carlisle, I can tell you... Well, most of it anyhow!! Now, where shall we start? Well, the best part of Carlisle has to be the city centre. The main part of which is The Lanes Shopping Centre. Recently refurbished it now houses over 70 top name shops including Debenhams, Quiz, Gap, HMV, Scotts, Faith and JD Sports. There are over 600 parking spaces in the shopping centre which is over half a million feet of of premium shopping covered by a glass roof. (Perfect for when its raining!!) There is a newly designed centre square with plenty of seating and a coffee bar, which is now a no - smoking area. Outside of the lanes there are hundreds of other shops. Advantages: Good Material, Good Choice Of Colours And Design

...The Carlisle United away kit has just recently been released and has proven to be exceptionally popular, selling over 1,000 times in just three week since Its release. I am one of that thousand that have purchased the top, and arent I glad I did - The colours of Black with the red trim work together very well, and as it runs all the way down from the top, to the shorts to the socks, this simplistic design dosent try to hard and works to perfection. It follows all normal kits, with the club crest in the top right corner and the sponser (Stobart) across the middle. It is a very comfortable top, feeling very light when on you and is obvioulsey made by quality material; you will tell when you touch it. One, Bitts Park, sits in the city centre on the banks of the river Eden, while the other hides on the outskirts of a council estate. A 'Bitt' Of Fun In Lovely Surroundings

About Bitts Park Situated in the Centre of Carlisle at the huge Hardwick Circus roundabout and nestled between the scenic river Eden and Carlisle castle, it is the best public park I have visited. And not just for children, as Bitts park has something to offer most visitors or residents of the city. Our favourite area is the children's play area. This is really the largest and most well equipped free play area I have yet to come across. The play area is enclosed by fencing with gates at each end making it quite secure.
