A 4-day Cruise on the Carnival fun-ship Paradise

Advantages: Entertainment, a great opporunity to see a few different places on one holiday
Disadvantages: food limited at night, slow room service, small-ish ship

...defiantly a highlight of my cruise experience. Enough about on board the ship ? Our cruise had 2 days where we were off the ship - one on Catalina and the other in Ensenada, Mexico. Apparently you could arrange excursions via the Carnival staff, but we didn't use this service. Instead we decided what to do once we got there. At Catalina we had until 4pm, and in Ensenada until 10.30pm. According to the schedule you could leave from 8am, but I didn't get out either day until much later (due to the darkness of the cabins I mentioned earlier!). ~ Catalina ~ Catalina is a small island off the coast of California that I didn't know existed until I found I was going there!! In Catalina we spent a while on the beach and in the sea (got sunburnt!), then took a ride in a semi-submarine (it went down 100 ?. Inches!!) This was sort of expensive...

Crappy Carnival

...As I filled in my Comment Card, following my recent cruise on the Carnival Spirit, I realised there was not adequate space to list the problems myself and fellow travellers encountered on the ?fun ship?. My complaints and comments are listed below. General Ship Condition. 1. Our cabin balcony was continually covered in soot from the funnels. Nelly, our Cabin stewardess, did her best to keep it clean but still the balcony got sooty. Two garments were soiled by this soot. We paid for the two back cabins for good views of the Panama Canal. This would not have been the case if we had known the soot would be a problem. The problem was also very noticeable on the Fantail Bar and pool area on the ship. 2. Many parts of the wooden deck boards were warped. This created wavy and unevenness on the decks. This was quite a hazard...

Carnival Funfair games: Wii

Advantages: Cheap, very fun!
Disadvantages: No good for young children, and it doesn't "progress" much.

...This game is so fun!!! We got it with our Wii when we bought it and we got a little addicted to it!! Its got a variety of games on it which you can play which you find at real carnivals and funfairs! Games such as Coin toss, ball in a bucket, milkbottle tumbe and loads more!! You earn points and unlock prizes and more games as you go (my favourite prize is the G-Raff on the duck hitting game!!!!!!) It can be played by up to 4 players and if you only have one controller it accomodates this!!! As well as been a great game, its cheap too!! The only thing with it, is that some of the games don't last very long, and once you've unlocked the few games extra you can get, the game doesnt progress, but that is the only fault, and as a game to play to pass the time and have a good laugh in the head to head mode, its a great game to have a good...

Hours of fun at the Carnival

...This game is brilliant! I'm hooked, have been playing on it non-stop since I bought it on Sunday. Carnival is a game that is pretty much explained in the title. There are around 25 little mini games to play from ring toss to test of strength. You can play in single player mode where you play to win prizes of various sorts, which then unlock various outfits you can wear. All silly little things like at the moment in the game I think my character is wearing snowshoes, a sheriff badge and a Viking helmet, all of which I think are very fetching!!!!! Multiplayer mode you basically play with friends and try to win! You can choose each individual game to play or you can play a competition where the computer picks 5 mini games to play and you have to get the most points to become champion. This game isn't aimed at serious gamers so don't buy it...

...Carnival Funfair Games is Like having a Mini Carnival on your wii. Carnival funfair games are not so fun after all !!

...I love funfair games and had been looking at this game for a long time before my partner decided to buy it for my birthday. On the back of my case it says "Experience all the fun and excitement of the funfair with carnival funfair games" You can create your player from a very limited choice but you can buy more things once you have won some tickets. This is a single or multi player game, with prize mode for single and head to head or competition for multi player. I played the single player game first where you play to win tickets and virtual prizes, the tickets you use in penny pushers or grabbing machines there are a few others too which I won't spoil for you because I found these the best part of the game. As you play the game and win prizes you turn them into bigger prizes this moves you closer to unlocking the extra games...
