Fantastic two weeks in a Fantastic Hotel

...Stayed at Carpe Diem for 2 weeks with my family and had a great time. There is something for everyone at the hotel. The kids club was great and I felt confident and relaxed knowing my kids were in good entertaining company. The food service was lovely with a wide variety at the main buffet even a special kids corner with different varieties everyday. If u wanted to sit back and relax at meal time u had a choice of 6 al la carte restaurants which we tried and each had lovely food and the service couldn´t have been better. The kids pool is amazing with a pirate boat in the middle of it, the kids had hours of fun in it. Lots of day and night entertainment also with great shows everynight the staff were really good and friendly. ...As the name would rather obviously suggest this is a magazine dedicated to the carp angler. A weekly publication, it brings you all the lastest news and views on anything to do with tracking down and catching this beautiful fish. Like most dedicated magazines specialising in a particular subject it goes quite in depth in some areas but it is a reccommended read to the serious angler. Features such as the News Round-up are particularly useful to keep up to date with the latest methods, trends and happenings in the world of carp fishing. I find the Catchlines section an interesting read as you get to see some of the large fish caught by anglers country wide together with a write up about where and how they caught their quarry. What a load of Carp!

Advantages: It's less than an hour in length and cheap.
Disadvantages: Too many to mention.

...In this dvd Bob Nudd, with the aid of very bad editing, manages to ruin what could have been a great instructional aid to anglers who want to pursue this fine art of catching tench and carp on the long pole. The techniques and rigs shown are relavant however the sequence that each is explained is extreemly disjointed. It was like watching a dvd with shuttle turned-on on your dvd player. Kevin reflects on the outstanding memories of his last 15 uears of fishing( bare in mind the book was originally published in 1986) Although carp angling and indeed catfishing has moved on a lot since the book was written, i always find it an enjoyable read and it also gives an insight into early carp fishing days.
