If you know someone who is learning to drive ask him or her if their instructor is good and how much they charge etc. As my birthday is in May quite a few of my friends started learning to drive before me. ...The best feeling that I had when learning to drive was actually passing my test - despite taking me 4 times to do! But please, just don't let that put you off. When I took my test, it was only £38 but a driving instructor friend of mine tells me that it is now nearer £45 - and that is only four years down the line. Your instructor should be aware of what the current price is, and they will help you in applying for your test. Of course, you have had to have passed the theory side of things before they even let you consider taking the practical. But as this is about the practical, that is all I am going to say about that. Driving in my car

I bought our little tikes cozy push and ride car about 2 months ago when my son was 16 months old.I had not gone out with the intention of buying any toy, let alone one as large and expensive as this one.I made the mistake of letting my son loose in the toy section,it was here he spotted the car I lifted him in and pushed him around the store.You can probably guess the rest!When I tried to lift him out he went ridged(as only a very cross toddler can) I gave in and bought the car-well he did have some birthday money and I buy very few new toys so I don't feel like too much of a failure!! Review of Little Tikes Cozy Push & Ride Car

Mini One a fun car to drive

Advantages: Solid, fun to drive high quality small car
Disadvantages: Heavy on fuel, not alot of leg room in the back

It has a 1.6 petrol engine which gives you 105 BHP which is quite a lot for such a small car. We also bought the automatic version as thats all my wifes license will let her drive. It also has the flappy paddle gearshift on the steering wheel so you can drive it like a manual. We hardly ever use this its a bit of a gimmock. The auto gearbox also has a sports setting which changes the drive of the car and revs the engine alot harder before it changes gear, brilliant fun. It doesnt have an alarm as standard as with most BMW cars anything extra on the car is an added expense. There was hundreds of extras you could add on especially on the looks side eg extra chrome finishes, choice of fabrics/colours enough to keep everyone...

A DRIVE THROUGH THE MIND.

Advantages: One of David Lynches best films.
Disadvantages: Confusing.

Brilliant infant car seat

Advantages: Excellent for safety, comfort and totally practical
Disadvantages: no negatives for this product

...I used this for my daughter and used it from birth right through to the upper weight limit which is actually higher than most other car seats in this category. She always seemed so content in it and happily napped when travelling. The sun canopy is excellent, great for protecting the baby when driving and carrying about. Sun canopy also stores away easily when not in use, remaining attatched but out for the way. I also bought the easybase which made loading and unloading baby from car very quick and easy - especially when its raining which it so often does here. Also purchased mosquito net & Raincover both excellent purchases and in the UK I certainly needed them. I liked the fact that there were internal pads that could be removed as she grew to enable more comfort and space for her within the seat. Covers are easily removed for washing...

...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...
