Marseille - culture - climate =beau

Advantages: Gorgeous Climate, Beautiful Culture, Picture moment Scenaries
Disadvantages: driving(?)

...already so it was great fun relaxing on a giant float getting a great tan and taking the occasional dip into the water. During my visit to Marseille as much as i wanted to just stay and relax at the pool and soak up the lovely climate i did go out. Marseille is famous for its Opera Houses, museums and galleries. - May sound boring, but there were some good locations we went to. If your into shopping then The Centre Bourse is the main shopping centre of Marseille and contains both the History Museum as well as a series of open archaeological ruins now used as a park. An extensive bus network serves the city and suburbs of Marseille. However when I went we hired out a car (from the airport) lol erm this is the best way around - if your a good driver because the french are very 'busy' drivers sometimes and we did get knocked from behind...

A COMPLETE GUIDE TO MARSEILLE

Advantages: Cheaper than England, great food, easy to get to, friendly people
Disadvantages: High crime rate, polluted (aren't all big cities??!?) Its French (Lol)

...takes just over 3 hours. The French TGV is the fastest train in the world and TGV are probably the best trains in the world. So it is slightly better than Virgin Trains or Connex South Central!! (The French government seem to take expenditure on rail travel seriously) And the other way to get to Marseille is by car; a long, long way but some people do it. I saw several English number plates whilst I was in Marseille. French lorry driver so I can't advise you to use that option. Notre-Dame de la Garde is perhaps the most well-known tourist attraction of Marseille and it is one definitely worth visiting. Notre-Dame de la Garde is a cathedral overlooking Marseille. The view is magnificent and from Notre-Dame de la Garde you can see all of Marseille. You can go inside the cathedral which is historical but frankly nothing particularly...

Advantages: An interesting Vieux Port (old port) area, good accommodation options nearby
Disadvantages: A noticeably high crime rate, not a great deal to see outside the port and coast areas

Regrettably, however, crime rates here are among the highest in France, and our own impressions could do nothing but strengthen this view. I had first visited the city two years ago, in the summer of 1999. That time, I had stayed in a pleasant (though rather unhygienic) youth hostel far from the Vieux Port area, and had avoided any kind of mishap whatsoever. This was still true after a confused two-hour walk back to my accommodation (after the Metro had unexpectedly shut down on Sunday evening), which took me through dark alleyways of the worst description. In fact, it was only other people that ever appeared to hold a grudge against Marseille’s inhabitants...

La Belle ville de Marseille

Advantages: It's a Beautiful city with breathtaking views
Disadvantages: Going out for a drink can proove expensive.

...Marseille is a beautiful city, with some of the most breathtaking views, and historic landmarks. Food is cheaper to buy there. Particularly fresh vegetables. There are plenty of shops and supermakets, and a large street market in Avenue du Prado, near the Castillane. When it comes to restaurants, you are spoiled for choice. But being a vegetarian, I went to a vegetarian restaurant called Country Life, in Rue Venture. I went on 16th September. However I have visited the city many times before. Being relatively close to home, and thanks to the channel tunnel, it is great to travel there by train. Given the speed and comfort of the Eurostar and TGV, I think it is preferable compared with flying. Unfortunately, drinks are expensive, even mineral water, if you buy them in a restaurant or a bar. You can buy it from all the shops you'd expect to be able to buy them from including Halfords, mothercare, john lewis', toys r us etc. What do they cost: prices vary depending up on offers and stores but usually this car seat retails at £100. How do they attach? This car seat is different to many of the others on the market. It clips onto a base which is attached to your car, This makes it easy to get the car seat in and out of the car without waking up the baby. ...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...

Probably not; there are offers but you have to be nimble to take advantage. We ended up paying about £150 a head return, but one way was first class; given the offer structure available at the time it turned out to be barely more expensive than economy. A must-see for all of those car mad boys!

Advantages: The soundtrack
Disadvantages: The characters aren't very strong

...When I first watched this film, I thought it was a loud of rubbish. At the time I was convinced it was probably the worst Disney film that I had seen and wasn't bothered about watching it again any time soon. Noah had other plans and I am currently watching it for the hundredth time! I am not sure if it's a case of becoming familiar with something and quite liking it but this film has really grown on me. The film is based around a famous race car, Lightening Maclean, who gets lost and finds himself in a small town on Route 66 called Radiator Springs. He ends up having to stay in the town after getting arrested and being ordered to fix the road that he broke as a result of wreckless driving. He is desperate to leave and get back in time to win the Piston Cup but as time goes on he makes some great friends. Will he stay and build...

Brilliant infant car seat

Advantages: Excellent for safety, comfort and totally practical
Disadvantages: no negatives for this product

...I used this for my daughter and used it from birth right through to the upper weight limit which is actually higher than most other car seats in this category. She always seemed so content in it and happily napped when travelling. The sun canopy is excellent, great for protecting the baby when driving and carrying about. Sun canopy also stores away easily when not in use, remaining attatched but out for the way. I also bought the easybase which made loading and unloading baby from car very quick and easy - especially when its raining which it so often does here. Also purchased mosquito net & Raincover both excellent purchases and in the UK I certainly needed them. I liked the fact that there were internal pads that could be removed as she grew to enable more comfort and space for her within the seat. Covers are easily removed for washing...
