A generally feel good cartoon ? good always conquers evil. Angela Anaconda ? when I fist saw this, I was a bit bemused. To me, it loos like cut outs from magazines, but the strange thing is, it looks like they?ve used actual human body bits as well. They eyes of the characters and the mouths are human which actually makes it seem a bit creepy. The characters are as follows ? Angela Anaconda ? the main character ? quite bright, always in conflict with?.. Nanette Manoir ? the ?it? girl of the show. Thinks she knows it all, wears the latest designer gear etc etc. affectionately known by Angela as ?ninny poo?. Johnny Abarti ? the Italian character ? I don?t really know much...

Review of Cartoon Network

Cartoon motion leaves you dizzy!

Advantages: Great mix of musical styles
Disadvantages: Not enough tracks and bad flow

...Mika burst into the charts earlier this year with the amazing track "Grace Kelly" his style seems unique yet as you listen to his album you can pick up influences of many different bands. When I first heard "Grace Kelly" I thought it was the band Orson, until I made a point of finding the single. Now, I'm a stay at home mum more used to knowing what the Tweenies are up to rather than the music charts so I'd never heard of Mika, but his fun filled music, and voice that at times only dogs can hear, captured my interest and I found myself listening out for his next release, I was even more impressed with the fantastic "Love today" and decided I'd treat myself and buy his album "Life in cartoon motion" I don't usually write albums reviews as they're notoriously tricky however I am so in love with the album I wanted to write about it...

Classic cartoons

Advantages: Funny and just great to watch
Disadvantages: Not a little kid anymore

...Ten I could think of loads but I will share with you my top ten cartoons I like to watch. Number 1 Shaun the sheep This has to have become one of my favourite cartoons to watch. Its about a sheep called Shaun. Shaun has lots of adventures with his friends who live on the same farm as he does. Always up to mischief Shaun and his gang do such stupid things in each episode. Its just a show that will make you laugh and one you would watch again. Its a must see Number 2 Arther Arther is a cartoon about a group of friends that are all animals. Theres Arther whos the main character. Hes quite quite and gets along with people. Buster is his best friend who loves food and is a comedian in the making. Francine whos a tom boy and very stubbon. ...NOTE: I am writing this review on Cartoon Network's website. I used to check out Cartoon Network's website when I was a lot younger. I checked it out again recently and I have to say, it has lost its enjoyment value. This website would be a great way of entertaining your kids and keeping them entertained for a long time at that. It is full of great, fun games that your kids are bound to enjoy. The games are all based on the cartoons that are shown on the TV channel. The website is so easy to navigate around too, so even the youngest of kids, that have little computer experience, will have no problem playing and enjoying these fantastic games. Some of these games can not only be fun but also very educational which is a huge bonus, as it helps the kids learn whilst doing something they really enjoy. Overall, I think that Cartoon...

A great collection of in the night garden characters

Advantages: nice bright colours, strong and strudy, small and compact to even travel with
Disadvantages: could be a bit more bigger for the price

...After seeing and finding out for myself how popular the in the night garden TV show on cbeebies had become and how addicted my 2 year old daughter had become with watching the show, at the time I thought it would be a good idea to buy her the character figurines from eBay for around £11.50. When the characters finally come by royal mail my daughter was so excited that she even started singing some of the songs from the show. In the box are 6 popular character figurines from the main TV programme such as Upsy Daisy, Iggle Piggle, Makka Pakka, and all 3 of the tombliboos, -Un, Oo and Ee. They are made from idestructive plastic that is quite strong and versatile and sure is made to last for a good few years. My daughter loves imaginative play as this was the perfect buy for her and has spent many good hours playing with the figurines...

Strength of Character

Purdey was the first female in a TV series that I can remember who wasn?t a complete wimp who hid screaming as the men rushed to protect her. Nor was she a ballbreaking ugly old bat who hated men. Instead Purdey was feminine and strong. In one scene she might be kicking the baddies to the ground with a swish of her long legs flying from beneath as pretty skirt. In the next she could be using her feminine wiles to undermine and outsmart an opponent. She worked alongside men; not above or below. All of my girl mates and I wanted to be her! And all the lads thought she was great ? a perfect girlfriend in their eyes, although I do wonder how the average 1970?s teenage lad would have coped meeting a girl with such a strong sense of self in...

Life in a cartoon motion (Mika)

...Life in a Cartoon Motion ( Universal) This camp and sound alike Freddie mercury has exploded on to the music scene this year and has already shot to number one with single Grace Kelly, which catapulted him to number one and superstardom. He could be around for a long time to come Life in a Cartoon is Mika's (pronounced Meeka) is his debut album. The 23 year old born in Lebanon could go along way. Some might say the further the better but if you like Freddy Mercury and the Scissor Sisters you should like Mika. Mika has an Amazing voice and the album is full of tunes that are as catchy as hell. The CD makes a great start with Number one single Grace Kelly and is followed by Lollipop silly but bouncy. Another good song is Love Today definitely chart material. Billy Brown could also make the charts it's the story of a gay man...

These cartoons make me laugh

..., full of humour. A brilliant take on American family life. With Bart Simpson the oldest child being the school joker comes naturally to him, he is my favourite. Lisa his sister is a bit of a goody goody. I also sympathise with poor Marge, the mother, fancy marrying Homer!! The characters are all great and they have special epsiodes like at Hallowe'en and Christmas but my favourite episodes were the ones called "Who shot Mr Burns?" The twist was that it was Bart's baby sister Maggie, because Mr Burns pinched her lollypop. Hilarious. 3. South Park These are more adult cartoons, but they are so funny I must admit that I haven't watched any for ages, I think the last one I saw was the film, which was great too. All the episodes end up with Kenny dying you just have to watch and wait to find out how, and its usually quite unexpected...

Classic cartoon on every day

...Picture the scene, your busy, the kids around your feet, you’ve promised to baby sit but you’ve got your hands full. What do you do? Put the cartoon network channel on, plays the best cartoons 24 hours a days. Available on Sky it’s a brilliant channel to entertain the little ones, with everything from the Flintstones, to Tom and Jerry to new ones like Pokemon. It doesn’t have that many adverts, and there’s one great cartoon after another. It will keep them entertained for an hour or so, which is just enough time to get what you want done. It’s a classic cartoon channel, with more of the old classic cartoons which are just as appealing with a mix of the new ones. A good balance in my book, and when you’ve finished and rolled your sleeves down, you can watch a few with them...

Many splendid characters

...This was one thing that I did not have to think very hard about in the slightest, may be because all my top ten favourite childrens story book characters are all related. Yes, they are in fact the good old Mr Men. Being born in the early 70's I have grown up with many of these lovable fella's. Then there were only a few, but, now in total there are 43 Mr Men. A quick run down on how they all got started. The first Mr Men book to be unleased on our book shelves was the good old Mr Tickle and that was in 1971. Mr Tickle started life when the late Roger Hargreaves tried to describe to his son what a tickle looked like, he drew an orange body with long wiggley arms and his loveable grin, and now 100 million copies and 15 languages later we have a whole family of Mr Men as well as Little Miss which started in the 1980's.
