Reviews of cartridge lexmark
Quality colour cartidge but at a price
Review of Lexmark Cartridge No. 26 - print cartridge by
KiltedWarrior
Advantages: Colur quality , ease of fitting , will fit many printers
Disadvantages: Cost
...This cartridge fits a variety of Lexmark printers.
In general it is easy to fit - with the usual load and lock Lexmark carriage on your printer. Just take off the tape covering the print head insert the cartridge and lock into the carriage. Most printer software will detect this change and then ask you to go through the simple cartidge alignment procedure
The cartridge produces quality output - colours are very good and realistic. depending on the printer you can get near photo quality prints from this cartidge
It has a reasonable output in terms of number of pages it will create
My only gripe is the cost of these cartridges - you need to consider refilling them as a cost effective way of prolonging their life. In some cases the cartidge will costy more than the printer cost originally . Lexmark need to do something about this ....

Not making the print
Review of Lexmark Cartridge No. 82 - print cartridge by
ibrarthenut
Advantages: easy fitting, decent lastability
Disadvantages: expensive, limited compatibility
...The lexmark 82 cartridge is a decent ink cartridge that delivers all that you expect but nothing more and ends up being satisfactory. It is a black ink catridge compatible with the following printer series:
X5100 series
Z55 series
Z65 series
As you can see the lexmark 82 is not compatible with a lot of printers. Whenever i see other ink cartridges, their list of compatible printers is usually quite long but not this one. As a result the cartridge is not in as much demand as other cartridges and i often find that my local high street stores dont sell them or are out of stock.
The main problem with this cartridge is the price. Whenever i go to my local high street to buy ink i always find that this ink cartridge is always more expensive than most of the other ink cartridges for other lexmarks, as well as other printer brands...

No!!... It's No.1
Review of Lexmark Cartridge No. 33 - print cartridge by
shaaza
Advantages: can be bought from many shops, can be recycled, easy to use
Disadvantages: its rather expensive
...I have used Lexmark ink cartridge since we got our Lexmark x5200 printer at the beginning of last year which was compatible with the Lexmark cartridge No.33.
Lexmark No.33 is a colour ink cartridge which can be used by various Lexmark printers including series X3300, P900, X7100, X5200, P4300 etc.
The colour cartridge is made of three colours of course (yellow, cyan and magenta).
I've never really had problems with the cartridge at all; it is actually the printer which I had problems with as it died on us, which was rather a shame, Therefore we bought another brand printer, so no need of buying the Lexmark No.33.
However the cartridge is very easy to insert. You just open the small red box, and use a scissors to cut the thick silver plastic, were the cartridge is stored.
There is a little colourless strip which you got to take off...

Is the ink running out for this printer's age?
Review of Lexmark Z22 by
scottjones123
Advantages: Excellent Quality
Disadvantages: Time it takes to print
...this printer the Lexmark Z22 is cheap and cheerful, the quailty is excellent, the storage space isn't alot., the colour quality is great,
-------First Glance----------------------
my first glance was un-sure if this printer was up to the standard i was looking for, i thought it would be a printer, which would blur out some of the images, but it didnt and i was like 'yes great stuff lets get printing'
--------Is it quality?------------------------
it is quality, prints out are excellent, but they do take some time to print out depending on the choice of colours, and how many different colours are used at once, the cartridges last along time, ive used at least 2 packs if a4 paper in at least 3 days and its still going, and although you may be thinking, isnt that due to the cartridge? well yes i know that is true, but i believe...

printer ink cartridge con
Review of HP PhotoSmart P1000 by
flyingfinn
Advantages: none
Disadvantages: cost and value for money
...i got a lexmark z22/z32 printer in january 2001 along with a computer and scanner for my daughters school work. the computer is fine, my complaint is about the printer cartridges. in the computer package there was only a high resolution colour print casrtridge, there was no black and white ink cartridge. that has to be bought seperately at the cost of £28 a cartridge. what i want to know why lexmark do not supply both cartridges for free in with the printer. they are cutting their costs and making a profit at our expense. i got a cartridge with my computer in january and i needed to replace it last week, it did not last more than 1 month. my question is how can other printer companies sell their cartridges for half this price, theirs can also be refilled while lexmarks cartridges have to be replaced. i know what type of printer i...

Not too bad
Review of Lexmark 1000 by
slshepley
Advantages: Print quality
Disadvantages: Expensive upkeep, cheap looking
...The Lexmark 1000 was my first printer may years ago and at the time I paid around £90. At the time this was the going rate for an average printer and I was very happy with the buy.
The print quality from the machine is excellent and the software provided by Lexmark is very user-friendly. another good thing is that print quality doesn't reduce with the age of the printer. This is because, unlike other printer manufacturers, Lexmark cartridges actually contain the print head. This does however mean that the cartridges are very expensive compared with others - even compatible inks will break the bank.
This was the reason that I eventually got rid of the printer. My new Epson does not have the benefit of a new print head every time I install a new cartridge, but it cartridges are the cheapest I have seen. I have also had the printer...

load of pants
Review of Lexmark 1000 by
inspiralcarpet
Advantages: the software is good
Disadvantages: everything else
...I've never owned a Lexmark, but I have seen the trails, poor printouts, and general effort that my housemate has gone to with his. He got it with his computer, and has recently had to upgrade to an Epson. What finally did it was the choice between paying out £30 for a new cartridge or buying a decent machine for £70. There is no excuse for Lexmark cartridge prices; and there is no excuse for Lexmark putting out official disinformation saying that the syringe refil kits are not compatible with their machines, because they are. These printers give out bad quality images and text, are expensive to maintain, and look and feel cheap and nasty - which is exactly what they are. Fortunately for them, their newer models are not quite so bad, but avoid this one like the plague....

Lexmark Z53 tried and trusted
Review of Lexmark Z 53 Color Jetprinter by
moaning1
Advantages: Great little printer from a trusted Brand Name
Disadvantages: The usual one for printers - cheap printer - expensive ink!
...I've owned my trusty little color Lexmark Z53 for several years.
It was cheap when I bought it at about £60 so you should be able to pick one up for peanuts now.
OK it's not up to the "as true as life" digital printing that todays top-end models are but I have used it quite satisfactorily for photo reproduction without problem.
Easy to use, easy to change cartridges, cheap as chips, reliable, good printing speed. Good for colour or general text work.
Downsides? Just two cartridges Black and Colour. Cartridges are never cheap. Lexmark ones are around £22 for Black, £25 for Colour.
But they do last a good while for general use and many third parties make perfectly good cartridges suitable for this machine at around £17 for Black £20 for colour.
You can also of course use a refill kit if you wish but seeing the mess I made when I...

Lexmark must be making a huge profit!!!
Review of Lexmark Cartridge No. 16 - print cartridge by
deebeebee
Advantages: Available at a wide range of outlets
Disadvantages: Relatively expensive
...I have two Lexmark inkjet printers. One (Z605 model) is mine; the other (Z35) is on loan to me in connection with my degree course. Luckily, both printers use the same ink cartridges. These are:
Z16/Z17 - black
Z26/Z27 - colour
The same ink cartridges are compatible with a range of Lexmark inkjet printers, notably:
Lexmark Colour Jetprinters - Z13, Z23e, Z25, Z25L, Z33, Z34
Lexmark Colour Jetprinters - Z515, other Z600 series
Lexmark All-In-Ones - X72, X74, X75, X1100 series
**** So, what about buying the Z16 cartridges? ****
They come in a nice, neat little pack. The Z16 code is prominently displayed, as is a full list of the compatible Lexmark printers. So, no need to remember the cartridge code if you have committed your printer model to memory.
**** What do they cost? ****
An arm and a leg!! No seriously, Z16's...

Lexmark Z735
Review of Lexmark Z 735 by
dannywilsonlfc
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Very Basic
...The Lexmark Z735 is a very basic printer and is very conventional looking in its square shape. The printer does not have the quality of some more advanced and more expensive printers but for the price you would pay for it, it is definately worth it. The Z735 is a n Ink Jet printer and the cost of the ink cartridges is very reasonable, i have this printer and an Epson CX3200 and i use the Lexmark one for printing out basic documents as it is quicker than than the Epson and also to reserve the ink in the Epson because of the rediculous prices for their cartridges. The printer has one thing that i like and that is the borderless printing, There are two control buttonson the printer, one to switch the printer on and off and the other to feed paper. The computer is linked to the printer via a USB 2.0 socket. The Lexmark Z735 is very easy...
