...simplicity often trumps ritzy ostentation. Attentive service matters, but nothing is nastier than the kind of smarmy obsequiousness that always seems to mask a sneer. And so on. Maybe it's simply down to that indefinable essence known as character or personality. ...León is a city and district in Northwest Spain, far from being typical English tourist territory. But this is where the Spanish tourists from the South of Spain come ! They know what is good for them! GETTING THERE = The only port you are likely to use from UK is the port of Santander, and you will have a day's drive to get to León. Airports that will speed you to León are Oviedo or Bilbao. You could drive up from Madrid, but even the Spanish do not seem to relish that length of drive. The Casa Batllo - Possibly Gaudi's finest work

...My husband has a job, which more often than not requires him to work on Christmas day and through most of the Christmas period. Whilst this is the perfect reason to turn down all invitations to spend Christmas with family, it's not the greatest way to celebrate the big day with a 14 hour shift. ........ TITLE..... LEON This film is excellent it's got everything you could ask for in a film action,drama,comedy. I could watch this film over and over again Leon is definitely worth watching. .........PLOT........ This film tells the story of a 12 year old girl called Mathilda she lives in a an apartment with her father,stepmother,sister and brother,next door lives leon he doen't do very much apart from sleeps,waters his plant and drinks alot of milk he keeps himself to himself. Because Of The Times - Kings Of Leon

...So, The Kings of Leon hey? From a southern American state to nearing global domination in about five years. However, for four of them years they hardly looked like 'breaking it'. Their debut full-length album "Young & Young Manhood" was an excellent first effort that seemed a bit 'different' to the majority of stuff out there. "Aha, Shake Heartbreak" was a great performance for the so-called difficult second album. But it ultimately appeared as if the Kings of Leon were destined to be a band that the majority liked but only the minority loved.... Then something happened. "Because of the Times" was released. Released on April 2, 2007 in the UK on Hand Me Down it stormed to the top of the album chart and give the band radio airplay that it only sparsely received prior to the release. ...I am a huge fan of X-Factor; I absolutely love the show and have watched it from the very first series which was ever on the television. I think Simon Cowell is an absolute genius and although I thought Sharon Osbourne was a brilliant judge, I have to admit I do admire the rather gorgeous Cheryl Cole and the way in which she stands up ot her peers. Leon Jackson was the winner of the fourth series in 2007, a quirky young Scottish boy whom when he first came onto the screen I liked in an instant because his talent was raw and stood out from the crowd, it didn't sound manufactured and he definitely wasn't boy band material. Leon - Masterpiece

Advantages: Great plot and awesome performances
Disadvantages: A little grim at times

...Leon must be one of my favourite movies of all time. Jean Reno is a fantastic Italian hitman (although at times he sounds more than a little French) and this Luc Besson epic is a real cult classic. A young Natalie Portman also turns in a magnificent performance. The story is set as the unfortunate Portman?s father is a holder for the DEA (drug enforcement agency). He is deemed to have cut some of the drugs that he is ?looking after? and taken care of by the enigmatic (and convincingly lunatic) Gary Oldman. The young Portman is out at the time of the shooting in which all her next of kin are eliminated and turns to the mysterious door of Leon as she bites back the tears at seeing her family shot brutally. Leon takes her in, and the result makes for a fascinating tale of revenge, and honour among criminals....
