...Tesco Chicken and Cashew Nuts (350g) I bought this meal from Tesco mainly because of the half price offer; I paid £1.44 only for it. It's a yummy Chinese meal, and as is written on the cover it's "ideal for Chinese New Year - year of the rat 7th February 2008." I find this sweet, but it's not the reason why I bought it really. I love Chicken and cashews, and also Chinese meals are awesome at times; they use such a unique mixture of flavours, and wonderful vegetables that I'm always interested in trying. I took a look at the meal before buying it by removing the cardboard cover a little. The meal comes in the usual black microwavable tub that is used in almost all Tesco's ready meals, except that there's a small separated section where the cashew nuts are put. ...Like most people who have reviewed this product recently I am a Bzz agent and have been sent two bars of chocolate for me to try and tell the world about. The two chocolate bars I received were Seeds of Change Dark chocolate Orange and Fig and a second bar of Milk chocolate Apricot and Cashew. I had never heard of the Seeds of Change company and after checking them out on the internet, it turns out they are an Organic food company who make organic soups, sauces and pasta and have recently gone into the chocolate field, trying to be competition to Green and Blacks. I love milk chocolate especially fruit and nut and was pleased to see this milk bar in the box along with a couple of money off vouchers. Disadvantages: Might be a little hot for some people, high in fat.

Not nuts (or even apricots) about this!

Advantages: Lovely smooth premium quality milk chocolate
Disadvantages: Not keen on cashew nuts, although these were sliced very thinly

...chocolate is just too bitter for my tastes and it wasn't something that I would look at buying again. Having already tried that flavour, I had mixed feelings about trying this one, the Milk Chocolate Apricot & Cashew variety. I was much happier that this was made with milk chocolate, which is generally much sweeter, creamier and more palatable than dark chocolate. There was one particular problem with this flavour though, as far as I was concerned, which was that it contains cashew nuts and I'm not a big fan of nuts in general. (No dramatic allergies or anything untoward, I'm just not overly keen on the texture of nuts overall.) The bar itself is packaged in the same old-fashioned (retro style?)brown paper wrapper with the chocolate segmented into easy to snap slabs under a foil wrap. Disadvantages: Not one for those watching their fat intke or those with nut allergies

...I'm nuts about nuts in all shapes and sizes. I love Brazils, cashews, and peanuts. I will have them in sweet in chocolate or caramel or savoury roasted with salt and even cracked black pepper. They make the ideal snack to nibble on. They are high in all the good fats you need and apparently are fairly low on the GI scale. Everyone's a Fruit and Nut case

...Now I wouldn't exactly say that I am the world's biggest Fruit and Nut chocolate fan but every now and then I don't mind a small bar of this chocolate and Dairy Milk's Fruit & Nut is always what I reach for. When I buy these bars I usually buy them in packs of four, as my mum and dad quite like this chocolate too and purchasing four bars in a pack is much cheaper. Each of the four bars contained within these packs weighs 39g and is individually wrapped in Dairy Milk's iconic purple wrapping, this time with a red band to signify that the bar is fruit & nut. ...or not. The bag's contents weigh 2oz (56g for you metrics out there), which is almost twice the size of the average bag of crisps. The back of the packet provides the buyer with Mrs May's 'mission statement' - they use only premium grade wholesome ingredients. The nuts are slow roasted to give them their flavour, and then are given a dash of sea salt and brushed with sweetness to get a crunch. The ingredients in this particular flavour are cashews, sesame seeds, rice malt, organic evaporated cane juice and sea salt. The bag itself is quite small and I probably would have overlooked them if they hadn't been on special offer.
