Casio Exilim EX-S770 - Poor camera quality, overpriced

...supposed to be an SLR or a top of the range digital camera, but there are far cheaper cameras that'd take better acceptable pictures than this. Almost every person that has been in a photo taken by this camera has commented that the camera makes you look rough and a lot worse than if you looked in a mirror. This is not an exaggeration or people just being vain or paranoid - this camera honestly doesn't do anyone justice. I took the same photo 3 times, one with this camera, one with my camera phone (S500i) and one with Sony Cybershot DSC-T30. The DSC-T30 isn't much more expensive than this camera, but has amazing picture quality and sometimes the photos get mistaken to that taken with an SLR. The picture I took was of a friend and in the DSC-T30 picture, the image was sharp, realistic colours and was a generally nice pretty picture. On the camera...

The 'disadvantage' mentioned above of the complex BS setting is not really a complaint as for digital camera newbies like us the more auto settings we can have, the better, but there are about 85 different modes and it can take some time to find the correct one. Despite this, we have had great results and the quality has always been great - we would highly recommend this to anyone, particularly those of you who like the point and shoot approach....

...will be some useful functions on these type of calculators (like solving quadratic equation and drawing out graph transformations etc.) that you cannot do on the Casio fx-83EX. But even now, at university, i still keep this calculator as it is so easy to use and has useful functions that you sometimes don't even get on the very expensive calculators! I would definitely recommend this product! Another last note is to say that to be honest, you don't even need to bother with the instruction manual as it is so simple to use and it is a commonly used calculator in schools so the teachers are bound to know how to do everything!...

...The Casio Exilim EX-Z700 is a fantastic camera with very few weaknesses. It is suitably compact and not noticeably heavy yet the screen size is not compromised; the LCD display is usefully large. In addition, the design of the zoom button is incredibly quick and easy to use as well as zooming long distances. There are many different 'best shot' styles including 'backlight' and 'monochrome'. Nevertheless using the automatic 'portrait' function produces good quality photographs for an amateur photographer. It is very easy to flick through the photos stored on the camera and with the flick of a button they are displayed on a calendar to show when they were taken. There are many settings to play around with on the menu, including self timers, sounds etc. Overall the camera is simple to use and rarely needs referal to the instructions...

If you need a compact and inexpensive digital camera, buy the CASIO QV-70. You WON'T be disappointed. I even dropped it once and it was not damaged in any way.
