...I bought this calculator at my local woolworths as i was after a scientific calculator and one that was cheap(i paid under £10 for this one which seemed a good price). The calculator is made by Casio which are a well known brand for making anything from calculators to TV's . The dimensions are 84x155x12mm and it is a light too which is a bonus. The keys are large enough for most people and all the writing is clear on and above the keys. This scientific calculator with has 249 functions (164 scientific functions) - including statistic functions. It is primarily aimed at secondary school student but i reckon it will be fine for almost any function unless you need the functions of a graphic calculator It is solar powered so it doesn't require any batteries in order to function however as with all solar powered products,you just...

Fantastic keyboard, so lovely to type on...

Advantages: Separated keys; very nice to type on, very nice to look at (doh!)

...I've just purchased the Apple Snow Leopard Mac Box Set from my local Apple authorised service provider, and decided to buy an Apple keyboard with it. The Apple keyboard is priced around £28.00 - and no matter what keyboard I try I can type the fastest with this keyboard due to the separated keys. Very quiet key stroke during operation and just very pleasant to use. The keyboard enclosure is made from aluminium and even without being too close to the keyboard you can smell the aluminium when you first open the product, but the smell soon wares off. Good to start

Advantages: Casio chord function, metronome, 100 songs, 120 rythmes, over 500 sounds, lessons
Disadvantages: small range of keys, annoying lady in speak mode

...Almost all the products I get are given to me as presents and this one was aswell. Not the most expensive key board ever, but then again I don't exactly need a whole load of synthesisers do I? No, I just needed a piano that I could play at home, and this has certainly done its job! This casio keyboard is the perfect keyboard if you want to use it just as a piano, but however, if you are a starting keyboard player, I recomend that you get this keyboard since there are synthesiszing options available. Also this keyboard has over 500 different sounds to choose from with an additional 120 rythmes and included in the price is a Casio song book which has 100 songs in it, from easy one handed songs such as happy birthday, to extremely quite hard songs, like canon pachalbel. ...This is a good quality keyboard that offers good value for money in the short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be anle to get a cheaper version next year. It incorporates most of the latest features and technology that is currently available on the market. The consumer will have to spend a short period of self-training in order to become fully acquainted with using the product. This can be achieved fairly efficiently by making reference to the guide/instructions that comes in the box. After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore have to recommend the product....

Advantages: Reliable, Long battery life and very handy!

Apple Keyboard

Advantages: Good Multimedia Keys, Flat Desgin, Very Easy to Type.
Disadvantages: Need's OS X Tiger with the latest update or higher, No good on Windows.

A great keyboard for Vista and XP machines

But even now, at university, i still keep this calculator as it is so easy to use and has useful functions that you sometimes don't even get on the very expensive calculators! I would definitely recommend this product! Another last note is to say that to be honest, you don't even need to bother with the instruction manual as it is so simple to use and it is a commonly used calculator in schools so the teachers are bound to know how to do everything!...

A well laid out keyboard

Advantages: Comfortable for a normal layout keyboard, silent
Disadvantages: Required software installation to work under Windows XP

It's a comfortable keyboard for those who do not want to take the time to learn a new layout. Frankly, I was about to buy a true ergonomic keyboard, one of those with seemingly weird layouts, since this one doesn't look all that different from normal keyboards, but the media keys won me over, and I'm glad they did. This thing is truly comfortable. I first tested the set under the Ubuntu 7.04 OS. It worked right out of the box, but obviously the media keys aren't configured to do anything.
