Casio QV R61
Advantages: Good quality, good zoom, SD card slot
Disadvantages: battery life pretty poor, no case
...Casio QV R61
Info
I purchased this camera at Christmas 2006, it cost me £150. This is an excellent camera with 6.0 mega pixels. The picture quality is amazing although when you transfer the image from your camera to your computer the images are quite big in size, although the bigger the size the better quality it should be.
Casio
Casio is a well known brand, Casio has made many cameras although I think that this one has topped them all. There are many different makes of camera which claim to be good quality and good zooms etc, but unlike many other cameras this one does give maximum performance and great picture quality.
Cost
This camera only cost me £150 at Christmas 2006. Before this camera was £230 and now it is probably even cheaper now. What ever you pay for this camera make sure you don?t pay more than I did as...

Casio QV2900ux - Wierd and Wonderful
Advantages: big zoom for a small camera
Disadvantages: low resolution for a high featured camera
...I have owned a qv2900ux for about 16 months and have been very impressed with the results. The main selling point of the camera when I bought it was its huge 32x zoom capabilities. This works out at 8x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom.Anyone who owns a digital camera knows that digital zoom is not all that impressive as it simply crops the image and enlarges it loosing a lot of picture quality. having said that the 8x optical zoom has been very usefull and more than you could hope to find on a camera of this size and of a very good quality.I have also used it in conjunction with the digital zoom and surprisingly the results were still quite impressiveup to about 16x overall zoom. The 32x setting did start to loose clarity but it is stil surprisingly usefull at this setting if you are prepared to accept the snapshot quality of the images...

Casio QV-R40 - My first digital...
Advantages: Simple and user friendly. Nice built. Clear sharp quality picture. Great for first time user.
Disadvantages: Small view finder.
...timer in digital photography considering its feature, user-friendly manouvre and quality.
Although I have upgraded my camera to another casio with more advanced feature, this camera is still in my family for the superb picture and easy to use functions. I simply love it!...

CASIO QV-70 DIGITAL CAMERA - Easy, Inexpensive, & Excellent Photos
Advantages: Great compact digital camera & inexpensive
Disadvantages: It uses batteries quickly
...I bought my CASIO QV-70 a little over a year ago and I have used it more that I ever thought possible. I sell books on Ebay and I use it to take photos of all my merchandise. The camera cost only $99.95 US and it has proved itself a true bargain. ~~~~~
The CASIO QV-70 is very compact and easy to handle. There are not many buttons: this is an older model yet still available in stores and over the Internet. The buttons are easy to understand and the manual that came with the camera is very instructive. ~~~~~
On the back of my camera is an LCD screen which I may opt to turn on or off while photographing. Keeping it off saves battery life and extends my use. It does use a lot of batteries but don't let that keep you from buying it. You may also purchase an adaptor for about $39.95 US and an adaptor is great for home use...

CASIO HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!!!!
Advantages: Price, Range of Features, Build Quality
Disadvantages: Small optical viewfinder, sketchy manual
..., left and right arrow keys. Finally on the face back there are the PLAY and RECORD functions for quick and easy recording and viewing, incidentally pressing the record button twice activates the movie mode... very handy as it creates an MPEG file of upto 15fps on the media selected.
On top there is an analogue zoom selector (upto 3.2x optical, 4x digital) which is of a nice size and doesn't seem to get in the way and is easily accessable without too much fiddling, in the centre there is the focus lock/shutter button.
Underneath, he Casio QV-R40 takes Secure Digital (SD) and Multimedia (MM) Cards and has, on board 10MB, of its own internal storage space - easily transferable between cards and internal. These share the compartment with the 2 AA Nickel Metal Hydride batteries which have considerable life for such a powerful camera (I...

Just In Casio Want A Digi-Cam
Advantages: Looks good, Feels good, Is good
Disadvantages: Nothing major
...Like most things, the market for Digital Cameras keeps on growing faster than most of us can keep pace with, it's just another of those things you just have to bite the bullet with and take a risk in buying what you *believe* to be the best option for you.
The QV R4 by Casio is a fine piece of equipment, with a strong stainless steel casing giving it a classy look. A flat-to-the-surface control dial acts as the mode selector while the easily positioned function keys make learning to operate the camera quite simple for even the newest of newcomers to this technology. The settings are easy to navigate and have sharpness, contrast, saturation, white balance and quality controls included.
When the camera's memory card is full, there is an 11MB (megabyte) capacity storage area of flash memory so you are able to save images even...

Casio Calculator
Advantages: Good Price, Does that it says it will, Solar powered
Disadvantages: None that i can think of
...I bought this calculator at my local woolworths as i was after a scientific calculator and one that was cheap(i paid under £10 for this one which seemed a good price).
The calculator is made by Casio which are a well known brand for making anything from calculators to TV's . The dimensions are 84x155x12mm and it is a light too which is a bonus.
The keys are large enough for most people and all the writing is clear on and above the keys.
This scientific calculator with has 249 functions (164 scientific functions) - including statistic functions. It is primarily aimed at secondary school student but i reckon it will be fine for almost any function unless you need the functions of a graphic calculator
It is solar powered so it doesn't require any batteries in order to function however as with all solar powered products, you just...

Casio fx-83EX is a great school calculator!
Advantages: See Review
Disadvantages: See Review
...will be some useful functions on these type of calculators (like solving quadratic equation and drawing out graph transformations etc.) that you cannot do on the Casio fx-83EX. But even now, at university, i still keep this calculator as it is so easy to use and has useful functions that you sometimes don't even get on the very expensive calculators!
I would definitely recommend this product!
Another last note is to say that to be honest, you don't even need to bother with the instruction manual as it is so simple to use and it is a commonly used calculator in schools so the teachers are bound to know how to do everything!...

Why go digital
Advantages: High qaulity picutes, easy to use
Disadvantages: Poor battery life, slow shutter speed
...Having tried and tested several digital cameras at work I decided that it was about time I purchased my own. I had used an Olympus, Samsung and an older Casio model before, and out of these the Casio was by far the best. After reading some of the opinions on Ciao I decided that the Casio QV3000 EX was the one to buy, and I have not been disappointed!
The camera does not look anything special but is absolutely packed with features. The camera and software are user friendly which is important if you want the whole family to use it.
There are a couple of things that are slightly annoying but are easily overcome. The standard memory card supplied does not hold many high quality photo’s, however the quality is good even in low quality mode, but why have 3.3 megapixels if you can’t use them? So when purchasing the camera it...
