Prodikeys double Keyboard
Advantages: Build in musical keyboard, lots of hotkeys.
Disadvantages: Delay with Microsoft Synth, cover clip broken.
...This is actually my brothers Prodikeys, however he is letting me use it for now.
Just using it as a normal keyboard, this is a good keyboard, with nice keys, and fairly flat keys like a laptop, which I prefer. It has many hotkeys, you can program to what you want which is useful, and has all the multimedia keys.
On the top of the keyboard, from the left, is the key to open the prodikeys software, and then 3 keys next to that on the right, Sustain, Octave up and down, which when you are not using the prodikeys software, these keys are to open a web browser, open email, and open instant messenager. Futher to the right, there is a calculator key, calender, address book, My Documents, My Pictures, Music, Lock, stand by, then the multimedia keys, play/pause, stop, skip left/right, and then open media player software. There is also...

Accessories
Advantages: cheap, plenty to choose from
Disadvantages: staff seem miserable
...Claire's accessories is a shop for the females. It's mainly young children and teenagers that shop here but you do find older women here too.
The shop sells:-
hair accessories
nail varnish
belts
purses
jewellery and more
You can also have your ears pierecd here too.
I've been in the shop a couple of times now to buy hair accessories and nail varnish. There is a wide range of items to choose from in different colours.
As soon as you go through the door though, they are lunging a hand basket at you. If you do not take one they do not seem too pleased about it either.
When you are paying for your goods, they always ask if you want to buy the bargain of the day like a nail file. They do not seem to be satisfied with what you take to the counter at all.
The shop is quite small but it does sell plenty of items.
It...

Accessories and more
Advantages: good little accessories, good bargains
Disadvantages: crowded, staff not always pleasant
...I know a lot of people that when you say Claire's Accessories they would say oh that shop for teenagers but it isn't for them only, it's for girls in general. Females I should maybe say it sells a lot of things that are not too expensive but very nice still. From the branches I have been in I have seen them sell make-up, nail accessories, bags, books and so many things.
This shop is not only in the UK because I saw t in America so I don't actually know where it started. One main thing I know this shop for is piercing ears they are trained I'm sure but I don't think I could trust anyone. They pierce ears usually right at the front of the shop and everyone can watch, they will probably be fine but they could do it away from the customers buying and I have heard that not all of the staff here actually know how to pierce.
I love...

Canal du Midi
Advantages: architectural wonder
Disadvantages: cost many human lives to build
...The Canal du Midi, is a man dug canal, situated in the south of France, and joins the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean sea, via the Canal Garonne. The water sources which allow the canal to be constantly navigable, come from the Montagne Noire, (situated in the south west of the Massif Central, near Mazamet, in the Tarn area), by three lakes, and the Saint Ferréol dam. This technical challenge, first imagined in 1539, stayed a project on paper for almost a century, until 1636.
¤ø,¸¸,◊,¸¸ ,ø
It was Paul Riquet, an ingenious engineer, born in Béziers in 1604, who started the first portion of the Canal in 1636, under the reign of Louis XIV. The Saint Ferréol dam was built in 1667, and in 1680, the locks at Béziers, called "Les écluses de Fonseranne" were built. Pierre Paul Riquet died that year, and the very first navigation...

Claire's untidy, expensive accessories
Advantages: No queues as they're never busy
Disadvantages: expensive and cluttered
...Claire's accessories moved to Harlow a few years ago, much to the delight of everyone as it was a welcome newcomer being that it was the first specialist hair-care and odds'n'ends shop in the town. Up until then we had to rely on a market stall or small ranges offered by various other shops and supermarkets.
I give it fair ratings that the stuff they offer is in keeping with current trends, keeping today's girls whatever age kitted out in the fashion, but (always a but) the shop needs a little attention in the following areas:
It's not just school age girlies who want to be trendy so how about making it a little less cluttered for us 'mumsies' to get a pushchair around inside without the worry of knocking the person next to you out with the swing of a Tesco's carrier? I've only got a single pushchair so I pity those with a double...

A Range of Accessories but It's Too Small!
Advantages: a large range of accessories, good bags
Disadvantages: the shop is too small, it's overpriced for what it is
...Claires Accessories is a shop MORE for teenagers but adults and younger children do tend to find something in there to their liking. I'm not a regular shopper at Claires and when I go shopping I normall y just have a quick browse and leave or buy something.
Layout and Presentation
Claires Accessories is a very small shop and it is filled to the brim with accessories. Every single wall is covered with shelfs or hooks with bags and other things hung on them. Theres also rotating display racks with loads of earings. The lighiting is okay, it's not too bright nor is it dim. It's a bit claustrophobic exspecially when it's crowded. Presentation wise, it's a bit messy and staff could put a bit more effort into keeping the shop tidy.
Selection and Range
There is a range of accessories in Claires, these are bracelets, neclaces, earings...

Casio Calculator
Advantages: Good Price, Does that it says it will, Solar powered
Disadvantages: None that i can think of
...I bought this calculator at my local woolworths as i was after a scientific calculator and one that was cheap(i paid under £10 for this one which seemed a good price).
The calculator is made by Casio which are a well known brand for making anything from calculators to TV's . The dimensions are 84x155x12mm and it is a light too which is a bonus.
The keys are large enough for most people and all the writing is clear on and above the keys.
This scientific calculator with has 249 functions (164 scientific functions) - including statistic functions. It is primarily aimed at secondary school student but i reckon it will be fine for almost any function unless you need the functions of a graphic calculator
It is solar powered so it doesn't require any batteries in order to function however as with all solar powered products, you just...

Accessories for the young at heart
Advantages: Very colourful with lots of things instore
Disadvantages: Expensive
...Claire's Accessories is, I know, mainly for the kids and teenagers. I shop in here mainly over Christmas time for the kids in my family, but have been known to do the odd bit of shopping in there for myself!
They are not really all that cheap. I have bought 3 hairbands in there, 2 of which have subsequently broken, 1 is still in good working order! The last one I bought cost £2.50.
They also do ear-piercing. The sign outside said from £6.99. Not as cheap as some places, but this store is a national chain store, and would cost more.
When you first look at the store, it's very colourful with plenty of bits and bobs in to buy from hair accessories, purses, bangles nail varnish, bags and jewellrey. They also have reduced and buy 1 get 1 free on selected items.
They have also been known to do fancy dress costumes, ie...

Almost better than sex
Advantages: It doesn't come better than this!
Disadvantages: Not for the feint hearted
...I owe you all an apology! Macbeth has nothing to do with Casio - I just happened to be in that section when I asked CIAO to create a new listing
Ho hum - worse things have happened at sea!
I've had the privilege of knowing the designer, Ken McBeth for nearly twenty five years - he's well known in analogue synth circles a larger than life extrovert who always gives it 110% - his entire existence is dedicated to the design, and manufacture of some of the highest quality electronic musical instruments ever produced - period.
Analogue synthesisers first made an appearance in the mid 1960s, they tended to be big, cumbersome, not that reliable, and very complicated to set up.
Even so, they were soon adopted by avant garde musicians, but it took several years before they were accepted by 'mainstream' musicians - almost entirely due...

Fantastic keyboard, so lovely to type on...
Advantages: Separated keys; very nice to type on, very nice to look at (doh!)
Disadvantages: None really
...I've just purchased the Apple Snow Leopard Mac Box Set from my local Apple authorised service provider, and decided to buy an Apple keyboard with it. The Apple keyboard is priced around £28.00 - and no matter what keyboard I try I can type the fastest with this keyboard due to the separated keys. Very quiet key stroke during operation and just very pleasant to use. The keyboard enclosure is made from aluminium and even without being too close to the keyboard you can smell the aluminium when you first open the product, but the smell soon wares off. Nothing bad or anything - just saying! I actually purchased the keyboard without the numeric keypad - but you can purchase one with or without the numeric keypad usually at the same price.
The keyboard's caps lock has an LED light on the top left corner to denote the obvious, and you have to...
