A good choice of memory card
Advantages: Easy to use and stores lots of photos
Disadvantages: Can be expensive if you don'tshop around
...As many of you probably know I suddenly had to buy a couple of USB flash drives to save my pictures on due to my laptop 'playing up'. Not only that, there was also another reason why it was important for me to get this extra storage space so soon especially after my friend telling me how important it was to have them stored somewhere other than just my laptop This is because I have recently bought a new camera for our forthcoming trip to Florida early next year which I wanted to have a little early so that I could also take it on my upcoming work trip to Paris. With the new camera I needed to purchase a few bits to go with it including a gorgeous pink case and more importantly a new memory card and card reader. After researching which memory card would be suitable to match my camera I decided on this one - the Fuji 2GB XD TYPE M.
What...

Credit card-sized storage for memory and sim cards
Advantages: Lightweight, slim, beautiful design, great value for money
Disadvantages: possibly bend cards if stored for long periods of time (untested)
...I previously carried a small USB key on my keyring as my portable memory solution. But I found that more and more, I was having to transfer information from either a PDA or digital camera, and a USB key just didn't work for this.
So I found the solution in the SanDisk SD Plus memory card - it is the size of a normal SD memory card, but also folds in half to reveal a USB adapter which can be plugged into any USB port. Brilliant solution, except that they aren't very sturdy. I was worried about the card breaking in my wallet, so I needed something to protect it.
This is where the Aluminium Memory Card Holder from Proporta comes in. It is the same length and width as a standard credit card (85mm x 54mm), and is only 4mm thick (about as thick as 3 credit cards sitting on top of each other). It is very light as well, weighing in...

ps2 memory cards
Advantages: store game data fast to memory cards, small and slim design
Disadvantages: can't save game data to any other format
...The playstation 2 console and also the playstation 1 console accept small devices that store data called Memory Cards. For the Playstation 2 console the memory card is a small rectangle plastic card that can hold up to 8MB of game data. The data is usually saved game files. Information that is stored in the game files is information such as position in game, completion percentage and things like that. A memory card is a crucial device for the playstation 2, because without it you could not keep any records of where you are up to in the game. This is because the Playstation 2 console uses CDs (Compact Discs) and DVD (Digital Versatile Discs) to store games on; CDs and DVD have no means of changing data on them, they only permit read only access.
The good thing about the PS2 memory cards is that they are small and compact...

Not really exciting, but a brilliant memory card
Advantages: Lots of storage space, completely reliable, great connectivity, dirt cheap
Disadvantages: None
...Of all the products you can buy over the internet, memory cards are about the dullest you can find. There really isn't a whole lot to get excited about. In fact, the ideal memory card would be one you could just slot into the camera and forget about. And this one does that perfectly.
Sandisk are widely recognised as the leading manufacturer with regards to memory cards, and their SD cards are particuarly good. This is one of, if not the, largest Secure Digital card Sandisk sell, and it works perfectly. The card is as reliable as a wood burning stone - it never fails, just keeps ticking away in the background, doing it's job. In fact, you hardly ever need to pay it any attention. It doesn't encounter difficulties with anything, be it technical faults or connectivity, taking it all in it's stride, and with so much memory, you can snap...

Casio EXILIM Card EX-S100 Review
Advantages: Revolutionary lens, size, screenfinder
Disadvantages: More of a novelty
...took the added liberty of photographing moving cars to test shutter speed. This was pretty damn good and the cars, although moving fairly fast, were still clear and defined. A good start.
Design. A nice metal finish THROUGHOUT the product, and I mean throughout, everything was in stainless steel, right down to the screws, for a heavy, but quality inducing appearance. The camera lens, as always appeared to jut out (almost a trademark with casio), and so this was nothing to worry about.
Features: Packed with an array of features, the S100 has some rather bizarre ones at that:
Business Shot function:: Apparently compensates for photos which you mistakenly (or otherwise) take at an angle and captures as if taken straight ahead...
As well as the usual USB support, and another added slideshow function which can be used while the camera...

Thumbs up for the Sony M2 memory card
Advantages: Good value for money (cheaper than most 2GB USB flash drives), and highly compact and portable
Disadvantages: Very small you so have to handle it really carefully
...I bought this memory stick for my Sony Ericsson Mobile phone back in December and it's still serving me well 6 months on, at the time I am writing this review. One of the desirable features of this product is its size. It's small compact nature means it can be easily popped in and out of your Sony Ericsson mobile phone at any time. At 2GB it can store about 500 MP3 files and about the same number of photos. It's also useful for storing PDF and word files if ever you don't a have a flash drive to hand You can also buy this memory card along with a USB card reader, which you just pop into your computer's USB port, and you're set to go.
However, the fact that it's so small means you have to be really careful when handling it, becuse if you drop it, it can be realy hard to find again. This is the only reason why I didn't give this product...

Fuji's XD Memory Card
Advantages: Great choice of memory size
Disadvantages: Superseded
...The Fuji XD Picture Card I bought with the Fuji FinePix F700 camera was the 512 MB version this allows a good amount of photo?s to be taken depending what mode your camera is set to quality wise the greater the quality the more space that is needed.
These are a slim design 20X25X1.7mm with a weight of 2 grams.
The XD Picture Card comes in 4 memory sizes they are: 256MB, 512 MB, 1GB and 2 GB cards they are small and compact and can be read by most card readers. The prices for this range from £11.95 to £38.95 new from http://www.askdirect.co.uk
These are still a great card for great camera?s the quick research I done by having a look on E bay for some second hand cards reveal that these cards are cheap 2 purchase and the cameras are cheap as well especially for the quality that you are getting.
All you need to do to install...

Casio Calculator
Advantages: Good Price, Does that it says it will, Solar powered
Disadvantages: None that i can think of
...I bought this calculator at my local woolworths as i was after a scientific calculator and one that was cheap(i paid under £10 for this one which seemed a good price).
The calculator is made by Casio which are a well known brand for making anything from calculators to TV's . The dimensions are 84x155x12mm and it is a light too which is a bonus.
The keys are large enough for most people and all the writing is clear on and above the keys.
This scientific calculator with has 249 functions (164 scientific functions) - including statistic functions. It is primarily aimed at secondary school student but i reckon it will be fine for almost any function unless you need the functions of a graphic calculator
It is solar powered so it doesn't require any batteries in order to function however as with all solar powered products, you just...
