...I bought this calculator at my local woolworths as i was after a scientific calculator and one that was cheap(i paid under £10 for this one which seemed a good price). The calculator is made by Casio which are a well known brand for making anything from calculators to TV's . The dimensions are 84x155x12mm and it is a light too which is a bonus. The keys are large enough for most people and all the writing is clear on and above the keys. This scientific calculator with has 249 functions (164 scientific functions) - including statistic functions. It is primarily aimed at secondary school student but i reckon it will be fine for almost any function unless you need the functions of a graphic calculator It is solar powered so it doesn't require any batteries in order to function however as with all solar powered products,you just...

Casio the wonder calculator!

Advantages: Reliable, Long battery life and very handy!
Disadvantages: Long mathmatical equation inputting not so good.

...will be some useful functions on these type of calculators (like solving quadratic equation and drawing out graph transformations etc.) that you cannot do on the Casio fx-83EX. But even now, at university, i still keep this calculator as it is so easy to use and has useful functions that you sometimes don't even get on the very expensive calculators! I would definitely recommend this product! Another last note is to say that to be honest, you don't even need to bother with the instruction manual as it is so simple to use and it is a commonly used calculator in schools so the teachers are bound to know how to do everything!...

It seems to be the standard calculator to use now at AS and A level, as I know other sixth forms other than my college who now solely sell these to their students. ...Ok the Casio FX 85 ES is simply put the best calculator available on the market that can be used in exams. Casio have recently been working with the Joint Examination board to ensure it's new "student" calculators do not break the rules-so no worries there students! So this natural display-what is it? Basically it allows you to type on the screen as if you were writing it in your book, for example squares roots are real on there and you can do fractions properly. I find it incredibly easy to use and it has gained me an A so far in my A-levels (i'm not that clever honest). Personally i wouldn't read the instructions-merely use them for reference and work everything out on your own-it's easy enough. CASIO Mini hand held TV

Advantages: Small, low price, durable, easy to use
Disadvantages: Small screen one speaker

...AC Power Adapter (Not Included) The weight is good to at 0.43 lb the TV is quite light and the depth dimension a depth of 1.49” it is quite small 6” height it is sort off pda size. The instructions are good to as always with a Casio product they are concise and very informative and as good diagrams and notes for using the TV I would recommend this as a cheap fun tool as it could keep the kids quite on a day out or stop you from missing your favourite lunchtime program or even while you have a little skive at work. For the price and its use it’s a good little buy, and being from Casio a good brand name (remember school calculators) it is quite sturdy although it is basic and cant do such things a teletext it is for under £ 40 a good little glad to have at times item....

Casio G shock Watch,for toughness,durability and comfort

Since he is prone to allergy , I had to be careful about the watch straps too while choosing. Casio G shock watch has a 'tough' look and that is the type my husband loves. The case and strap are made of plastic, I chose black colour, though there are grey and i think blue also to choose from. The display is large,clear and striking and has a light blue coloured light. There are buttons on the sides of the watch to adjust the time, day and date settings ,dispalay light and also the world time which is a great advantage if you are travelling!!. It has a daily alarm and also birthday/anniversary reminders...
