Castillo de Sol, Puerto Rico

Advantages: Clean, Good entertainment for the kids, good pool
Disadvantages: up the hillside

...This was our third trip to Puerto Rico and the first time we had stayed on the hillside. We stayed during the middle of October 2006 The Castillo de Sol Apartments are very clean.We stayed in a one bedroomed apartment. The bedroom was a good size with two good sized wardrobes and a dressing table with a nice large mirror. As always, it was a twin bedded room so we just slid the beds together. Our daughter slept on the sofa bed in the lounge area (bedding was left for us). There was a hand towel and a bath towel for each of us which were changed every other day. bedding was changed once during the week we stayed. The maids cleaned 5-6 days per week. The rooms are basic but more than adequate for our needs (somewhere to get changed and to sleep at night!) We did have a TV in the room which took Euro coins and even the smaller 10...

A decent thriller set in a small town.

Advantages: Has some fresh ideas in it, picks up towards the end.
Disadvantages: Characters are stuff we have seen before, very cliche.

A HAVEN FOR THE EXHIBITIONISTS AMONGST YOU

Advantages: Some nice apartments, reasonable food, plenty of swimming pools, a village in its own right

THE OUTLET The Barcelo Club el Castillo is, as its name suggests, a member of the Barcelo Group, and is one of three outlets owned by them in Calete de Fuste. The others are Barcelo Fuerteventura and Puerto Castillo, they are all next to each other effectively constituting a resort in their own right. As it was just myself and Tasha travelling, in this instance I did a fair bit of research initially through the Barcelo site and was a mite concerned to discover that the complex consisted of 382 bungalows. Evidently a ground floor complex from my point of view for two lone females was a security risk so was unhappy before I had even left. Further research through sites such as www.holidaytruths.com and similar established that the Barcelo Club had, in the last year...

Brilliant book,

...This is Linda Castillos debut novel and is categorised in the crime/thriller genre of book. Wow, what can I say? I picked up this book after reading the jacket info and let me tell you, it gives you no clue as to how good a read this book really is. The story is set in Painters Mill, a sleepy town which is both English and Amish. Kate Burkholder was born and raised Amish and then went against the grain and ended up as acting Police Chief in the same town that she was born and raised in. One night they get a call that is par for the course in a town like Painters Mill saying there are cows running loose. When one of Kate's colleagues arrives he doesn't find just loose cows on the road. When Kate arrives on the scene she is greeted with a crime scene so horrific it will have the hairs on your arms standing on end. Kate isn't sure...

However, this year due to a temporary fiscal blockage (well ok we're skint) we didn't go to Spain. So instead I decided to bring a little bit of Spain to the UK, well Marks & Spencer did on my behalf. What's this little bit of Spain then you ask, some Ibizan sand, Majorcan sea water, sombrero wearing straw donkey, or the Benidorm bug? No it's none of these, it's Marks & Spencers Castillo Cerveza Especial, a premium imported Spanish lager. WHERE FROM AND HOW MUCH? Needless to say I acquired it from Marks & Spencer. I purchased it from the Newcastle store, although I'm led to believe that it's widely available in most of their stores which have a foodhall. Now here's the good bit. ...and can be rather dry on the palate but is nice when it is slightly chilled but not too cold...I find that when a white wine is too cold, it tends to lack flavour and body. ∞∞∞The Bottle∞∞∞ The bottle is clear with Castillo De Liria clearly marked towards the top of the label; the bottle also has a screw top so as to retain the freshness of the wine and also to save the drinker the trouble of trying to wedge a cork back in the top if you haven't finished drinking it. ∞∞∞Suitability∞∞∞ Gandia Wines recommend that this wine is ideally drunk with shellfish and seafood but I also find that this goes particularly well with chicken dishes too. ∞∞∞Price and Availability∞∞∞ You can normally pick this wine up from most Off...

Advantages: good action, and insight into hatton as a person and as a boxer
Disadvantages: mayweather fight not included

...Collazo, Hatton vs Urango, and Hatton vs Castillo. Also contained on the dvd is a training session named "In the ring with Ricky Hatton". The In the ring feature is a training session sparring session with his trainer. The training session part only lasts three and a half minutes. My comment on the training session is that it already features in the main film. Blue Moon and "Heart of a Winner" shows the memorable moments of fight action from these fights. The dvd definetely entertains in terms of giving a good show of giving a good picture of the fighter himself, his training and management team, the fight action is also shown. There is a shame that from his loss against Mayweather there probably wont be a sequel to this. The film's soundtrack is called Heart of a Winner. Its on a similar spectrum for a soundtrack though not as well...
