...This is the time of year when all of the tacky presents appear in the shops that the recipient will feign great appreciation for on Xmas morning and send to the charity shop in the new year. As well as tacky toys and gadgets the bookshelves are filled with all the latest z list celebrity biographies and other rubbish books that no sane person would surely buy for themselves. One of those books is called Test Your Cat; The Cat IQ Test which was gifted to me by a friend presumably after she had taken the 10 minutes to test her cat and thought giving it to me was a way of making room on her bookshelf for something better. The Cat IQ test is a small hardback book with an attractive picture of a cat on the front. ...'t fear Because Frightful the cat is here ! I wasn't too sure what to make of this poem at first. Though having read it a few times Ive grown to like it. I was hoping it was going to be a little more haunting. But either way it is quite delightful. Unfortunately, Frightful is now 'retired', which means the TY company have stopped manufacturing her. However never fear, if you are desparate to have her in your collection then it may still be possible to buy her. She can be found occasionally on auction sites such as eBay, or at car boot sales too. Though this does mean that a price is not guaranteed. Some will sell her cheaply since she is older now, but others will see her as an antique in the collection and price her highly. ...How do you write a useful opinion on a perfume for someone who?s never smelt it? The answer is you probably can?t, but I?ll try anyhow. Firstly and most important, if you?ve never tried Chanel No5, DO NOT BUY IT UNTIL YOU?VE TESTED IT. This may seem a bit pedantic but I?m only telling you so you don?t waste your money buying a perfume which, when worn, may not suit you. I love the smell of Coco in the bottle, but whenever I try to wear it, it smells like cat pee. That?s the thing with perfumes. They really do smell different on different people. Now, why should you buy, or even test No5? Because it?s classy. It has no specific age range (i.e. it?s not old woman?s perfume. You know which I mean.).
