Dyson, as anyone that hasn't been living under a rock for the last 10 years will know, shot to fame with their revolutionary "bagless" Hoover(tm). Only you can't call it a Hoover(tm) because that's a trademark too. Bagless technology meant that there was no loss of power as the poor vacuum motor had to suck air through an increasing mass of dirt. It effectively meant that the suction power of a vacuum cleaner was increased. Not only that, but if you made the dust collection bin clear than you could see all of the dust and fluff whirling...

...This is the time of year when all of the tacky presents appear in the shops that the recipient will feign great appreciation for on Xmas morning and send to the charity shop in the new year. As well as tacky toys and gadgets the bookshelves are filled with all the latest z list celebrity biographies and other rubbish books that no sane person would surely buy for themselves. One of those books is called Test Your Cat; The Cat IQ Test which was gifted to me by a friend presumably after she had taken the 10 minutes to test her cat and thought giving it to me was a way of making room on her bookshelf for something better. ...'t fear Because Frightful the cat is here ! I wasn't too sure what to make of this poem at first. Though having read it a few times Ive grown to like it. I was hoping it was going to be a little more haunting. But either way it is quite delightful. Unfortunately, Frightful is now 'retired', which means the TY company have stopped manufacturing her. However never fear, if you are desparate to have her in your collection then it may still be possible to buy her. She can be found occasionally on auction sites such as eBay, or at car boot sales too. Though this does mean that a price is not guaranteed. Some will sell her cheaply since she is older now, but others will see her as an antique in the collection and price her highly. Specification The TZ6 is compact camera with 10.1 MP, which is plenty of pixels for all but the larger prints and harshest crops. This means that in normal conditions there will never be pixelation, in fact too many megapixels squashed onto a sensor can actually reduce the image quality. The most important feature of this camera is the 12x zoom, 25mm wide angle, Leica lens. Leica is a quality brand, and this lens is no exception, it produces quality images and the lens slides out of the camera quickly and smoothly. ...I always find it a little strange when a company releases two similar models at the same time, especially when the price difference is only around £40. The Panasonic Lumix TZ6 and TZ7 are similar stable-mates, with the TZ7 being the superior of the two. Having said that, the extra features of the TZ7 are things I can quite comfortably live without, such as the superior video capability with stereo sound, an HDMI output, and the ability of the camera to recognise up to 15 of your friends when they appear in a picture. Why would I want that? I don't have 15 friends - and even if I did, I'm sure I could remember them myself!
