Marantz cd5400 experience uncovered

Advantages: Uncover brilliant level of detail solid build
Disadvantages: Some features seem useless

...I have had this cd player for close to a year now and i can confidentally say it still works exactley the same from the day i purchased it, which compared to some of its rivals wheer the laser goes weak or the motors go slugish the marantz cd5400 truly has a high quality build to it. If your a marantz fan then you should already have trust in what they can produce and to me the marantz cd5400 is the back bone to a nice high quality system. It is not the best cd player around but for the money I can gurantee you will find it very hard to fin a cd player more impressive then the marantz cd5400. When i first listened to my cd5400 i was that impressed by the acoustical detail it uncoverd i actully had to go down stairs and steal my moms mozart collection just to see how great it was. Epson Stylus CX5400

Advantages: Good quality scanner and printer.
Disadvantages: Smart Panel programme can be annoying

...This Epson Stylus CX5400 has definitely surpassed my opinions of previous Epson printers I have owned. I have had two or three cheaper inkjet printers which all went a bit funny with age but this one is holding up well. It is a high quality printer with built in scanner and photocopier. The print quality can be easily changed in the properties and can change between Draft, Text, Text & Image, Photo and Best Photo depending on what you are printing. Draft and text are very quick to print and the Best Phot option obviously takes a while but comes out at a very high quality. The scanner built into the top of the printer is again very high quality with an optical resolution of 1200 dpi x 2400 dpi. These come out on the computer at a very high quality. Usually I would buy them from Tesco's, but as I was In a hurry I popped into my local computer retailer (Northbridge Computers in Lowestoft) to see what he had available. All he had on this occassion was TDK CD-R80 discs. There was single CD's in cases, boxs of ten in cases and spindles of twenty-five and one hundred. I plummeted for the spindle of twenty-five as I wasn't rich enough at the time to buy the big fat one hundred spindle. ***Product*** The disc's themselves are light blue with a silver swirl on it. Typically you can expect your order to arrive in around 48 hours. They always have a good budget range for sale, usually these are around the £6-8 mark. You pay p+p on top of these though. As expected you can search by artist, title etc, and look through the whole catalogue. There is very rarely a cd they do not have. Prices do vary though, and they may not be the cheapest around.
