CD Cleaner - whats wrong with water ?

Advantages: small and compact, cheap
Disadvantages: manual operated, replacement parts maybe hard to get.

...While the worlds number one CD repair tool was a flop and a generic brand repair tool was a success, I thought I?d try a CD cleaner as a CD repairer. I will be reviewing the cleaner and also adding some extra uses I got out of it. ~ The kit ~ The JML CD cleaner is exactly what it says, it is a CD cleaner only and does a very good job too. In the kit you get the cleaner tool, looks like walkman and you put CD label down as the cleaning pads are on the lid and you get cleaning fluid. ~ How it works ~ Very basic, spray CD, place inside with label down, close lid and turn handle for a few seconds to clean disc. It works pretty well but it seems no different to running your CD under water and wiping with dry cloth. I suppose it will work well for CD's with paper labels that water may smudge or destroy. ~ Cost...

...When i first bought my 100 Disc changer it was one of those fads, one of those things that i thought , "well, even if i dont use it that often it still looks pretty" . Now a few years on the player has had hours upon hours of trouble free usage. The player is based on Sony electronics and is as good as it gets for CD Changers, yes there are others, nowadays you can get 200,300 and even 400 disc changers, but this is the one that caught my eye the most.. The player is equipped with a front screen which allows you to input the name of the CD loaded at that particular position. These positions can be accessed (but not played at the same time) using the jog file function. There are other functions that allow the grouping of Cd's into different genres or artists or whatever you choose. A remote comes as standard with the player...

...Right so what can I say about a CD wallet? Well having owned only 2 CD wallets prior to this one, both costing under £5 I thought I'd go crazy and buy an expensive CD wallet for once. ...I came across this product whilst bored after doing my homework, fantasising about an ipod so I could store all my music. Whilst searching around the Internet I stumbled over many CD Mp3 players. I'd never heard of them before so I was intrigued to find out more. I had owned a Sony Minidisc player for about 2 years, and had become fed up with having to change the Minidisc every so often (yes I'm very lazy!) and it had become broken and did not want to send it of to the manufacturers to mend it which would have been very costly. A CD Mp3 player can store up to 30 albums onto one CD. This is very handy and by far easier than my previous Minidisc player is.
