...The Sony Erricson Walkman W810i phone is amazing. Before owning this I had the rubbish Motorola L6, and upgrading so much was amazing. I had so much more to do on my phone now. You may see alot of people with it, that might show that it is so good. I bought my W810i from Carphone Warehouse back in January 2007, at £140, and it is still working perfectly with no faults. This phone has some great features, which most phones fail to achieve. The high quality screen shows excellent photographs and videos, and puts other phones to shame. Even the stop watch and countdown timer which are normally useless features on other phones. On this phone, they are good fun to use. Clear picture and great quality sound, unlike my previous phone. The camera is 2.0 Megapixels, which is very good for a mobile phone. I think 2.0 Megapixels is great for me...

Walkman is best!!!

Advantages: A phone and MP3 player
Disadvantages: Bad battery life if using MP3 player

...!! Where to start!! The software provided is needed to put on your beloved music and only that software can be used. It is easy to use but I have found that you sometimes need to re-install it (no idea why but works for me). There are 2 ways of accessing the Walkman feature, by going to the tab on the menu or by pressing the Walkman butting (in the middle if the top row of buttons) pressing the Walkman button results in the Walkman feature coming up no matter what you are currently doing. It is easy to browse the files by selecting artist, songs, playlist or videos. It is easy to make a playlist as you can just select CD's or just a certain song (all info in users guide). You get a basic 512MB-memory card with the phone or in some deals I have seen it with a 1 GB card. You can see how much memory you have left by pressing the " volume down...

  Better as a Walkman than to Talk, Man

Advantages: Very good as an mp3 player
Disadvantages: Not so good as a mobile phone

...I'm a strange combination of Luddite and skinflint, always reluctant to go for new technology when the old stuff still works fine and is easier to understand and never diving in to buy the latest shiny new gadget just because it is new and shiny and preferring things that do more than one thing, so I don't have to buy more things than absolutely necessary. It is this former that left me without a CD player until the very late 1990s and the latter that caused me to buy a PS2, so I could have a games console and a DVD player in one, rather than buying one of each. The combination is responsible for me now owning a Sony Ericsson w810i mobile phone. I had been using the same phone, a beat up old Nokia, for more than 5 years and needed something new, as the battery had faded so much that it was next to useless. Not owning a digital camera...

Usually I would buy them from Tesco's, but as I was In a hurry I popped into my local computer retailer (Northbridge Computers in Lowestoft) to see what he had available. All he had on this occassion was TDK CD-R80 discs. There was single CD's in cases, boxs of ten in cases and spindles of twenty-five and one hundred. I plummeted for the spindle of twenty-five as I wasn't rich enough at the time to buy the big fat one hundred spindle. ***Product*** The disc's themselves are light blue with a silver swirl on it.
