...Sony CDX-M 850 MP car radio/cd player i'm on my third one of these due to my previous systems being stolen. which is not great as these still hold there price which is not that cheap.but you do get your moneys worth. the radio tuner as rds which is great for finding the stations.but i mainly use the cd player so can't really say much about the radio funtions.but you can preset your favourite radios stations which is handy so you don't have to search for stations all the time.you have three bands which are fm, mw and lw. the cd player plays one cd at a time. it plays copys which is great so you don't wreck your best cds in the car as you always end up with your cds being wrecked.it as cd text display so you know what you are listening to. you have the cd changer control funtion so you can add a cd changer. the sound is...

I LOVE BOYS TOYS

Advantages: Superb design! Don't have to take it out of car, Crystal clear sounding, Loads of features

If Carlsberg Made Car Stereos...

Advantages: Looks amazing, sounds amazing, fantastic features

...After passing my driving test (First time by the way) and acquiring a hand me down car from my brother (isn't life tough for us younger siblings) I automatically needed something that I could play CDs on as well as keep me entertained in the car, and so a cool head unti was always gonna be on the cards. However, due to previous experience in car stereos I new that Pioneer/Alpine was generally the way to go if you wanted high quality electronics. A Beauty and a Beast

Advantages: Looks great open and closed, also sounds AMAZING!
Disadvantages: No face off feature, Radio code can only be entered using remote, battery life on remote is rubbish and some features can only be accessed using this remote.

Moose becomes a GIRL RACER

Advantages: Great products, cheap prices, great customer service, simple website

...(which was also Sony) but that was only my prerequisite (apart from the obvious being price!). I looked at their ‘hot offers’ link and came across an absolute bargain (no doubt I will have to rant on about the stereo itself in a further opinion!). A Sony CDX-M600, usually £300, but Letsbuycaraudio were offering it for £180!!! I hadn’t planned on spending quite so much on a stereo but it did seem quite a bargain (its also fascia-less so I am unlikely to lose this one!).
