Cedar Court left me wanting more!

Advantages: Close to M62. Wide range of facilities.
Disadvantages: Robotic staff, boring rooms. Testosterone fueled bar.

...Work can require me to visit the lovely world of West Yorkshire from time to time and the closest hotel to my office, happens to be the Cedar Court Huddersfield. I have stayed there once but wouldn?t rush back. The only thing going for it in my opinion is the closeness to the M62 and the cheap corporate rate! Arrival The hotel is situated just off the M62 at Ainley Top making it handy for the local road links. There is an abundance of on-site car parking which is free for residents and at night there is a security guard outside throughout the darker hours to help keep your car safe. Check In Check in was straightforward if a little robotic. We were processed through, credit cards swiped and then given the key to our rooms. Advantages: 16 of the best coasters in the world, rides for everyone, value for money, clean and well kept, friendly staff, smiles everywhere...
Disadvantages: Erm... well it's all the way over in Ohio I suppose so not super easy to reach!

I hope you have the patience to see it through (I know, it?s very very long!) - I started writing and just couldn?t stop (although I had to for sleep and such!). Cedar Point is a huge place full of some of the most crazy rides you've ever seen but what makes it really special is the way it's run and the fantastic atmosphere it generates. It's my very favourite park and home to several of my favourite coasters (and I've experienced a fair few!). The park is located on a point of land that juts out into Lake Erie at Sandusky in Northern Ohio. It's around 2 hours drive from Cleveland, home of the nearest international airport I believe. It's easily reached on road from all over Ohio and the surrounding states and is well signposted from far away. Be wary of heavy traffic...

Cedar Point... Ohio's Rocking Roller Coast

Advantages: over 70 rides... great food... clean park
Disadvantages: rates went up to around $45 per person...

...I read Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson about a year ago and so knew largely what to expect from the storyline to this film. Having loved the book, but appreciating the difficulties that it would cause for filming, I was intrigued to know how the director would cope with this. I didn't have particularly high expectations for the film. A gorgeous, clean and cheap place to stay

...along the road from the port towards Dublin, we were desperately trying to find somewhere to spend the night, and we were still looking at 9:15pm! We came to a nice looking little place called Cedar Lodge. It was situated across the road from the British Embassy building. It was a very picturesque building with ivy growing up the front. The spacious graveled car park in front of the hotel had plenty of space for parking. The building looked like a large manor house. We managed to book a room for the night, and took our things upstairs. The room we got was a triple room, it had a double bed and a single bed. The single bed soon became a wardrobe, and was covered in clothes within minutes. The room was large, and had plenty of room between the beds and wardrobes. There were 3 spare duvets in plastic packets in the bottom of the wardrobes...

How silly can one get? So the book landed on the shelf unread until I desperately needed reading matter for my summer hols last year. I did read it at last and want to share with you what I discovered. I belong to the species of readers that reads a book virtually from cover to cover including all acclaims, acknowledgements, forewords and epilogues, even in which type a book is set. ...We have been going to the Cedars Restaurant in High St. Teddington for years. The Lebanese food is very tasty and well suited to a vegetarian diet, (no token nut cutlets here!). In fact, a large proportion of the menu is veggie, but carnivors are also well catered for by the delicious lamb and chicken dishes. As you would expect, you can dine a la carte, or for cowards, there are always the set meals at various (reasonable for the area) prices. If you are familiar with Greek or Turkish, then many dishes such as stuffed vine leaves will be familiar. Be advised, what they call mousaka is more like a very rich ratatouille, served cold - not a bit of pasta, or meat for that matter, in sight.
