A stick with 64MB of memory
Advantages: storage for all file types
Disadvantages: more memory capacity

**DELL USB MEMORY STICK**
-- USB Flash Drive 64MB --
- A brief Dell founder summary-
Dell was founded by Michael Dell in 1984 and was originally named 'PC limited'. At that time IBM was the main specialists in computer products and components worldwide. Michael learn't his trade by using IBM mainframe computers on processing speeds of only 2MHz. Dell wanted to find away to quicken up data processing and so got to work on building a prototype. In 1985 he managed it with a staggering 8 MHz processor speed. Michael was on his way to being a success in the US and has gone from strength to strength. Revenue 2006>> 56...

Diamond 500 IS a little diamond
Advantages: Small, discrete, excellent sound quality
Disadvantages: Price
...The box it comes in is about 10 times as large as the player itself, and once you have it in your hand it's just like holding a lighter. Measuring only 100mm x 60mm x 12mm, the Rio 500 MP3 Player is certainly small. This means it can fit in a shirt or trouser pocket without you really noticing. So what can it do?
Plenty. It packs a punch. The instructions that come with it consist of one folded sheet, the rest of the information you will require is on the 2 CD-ROM's that come with it. These take a few minutes to install on your PC, and for technophiles it is surprisingly easy to get started. I had copied one of my music CD's and downloaded my favorite tracks to the player in less than 30 minutes, and I'm no expert. It can hold about 17 average sized music tracks, more if you buy the extra memory that just slots into the unit...

Rio 500-Stories on the Move
Advantages: Spoken word features
Disadvantages: A little a small
...MP3 players are well known for their music capabilities. The Rio 500 has features dedicated for the lovers of the spoken word. You can listen to the latest thriller or a classic novel in a unit smaller and lighter than a single cassette. The 64 megabyte memory is capable of storing up to 30 hours of content. Hours of listening pleasure can be downloaded from sites such as audible.com and audiohighway.com. These sites are vast and varied, everything from self-help to cutting-edge comedy, some of these are free downloads.
The Rio 500 comes into its own is its bookmarking feature. You can mark exactly where you are in the story and go back to it at any time. Content is stored in folders, where you can store a personal mix of stories and music. The player comes with quality in earphones and beltclip case. Sound quality is good...

Xbox 360 64MB storage device
Advantages: good for beginers
Disadvantages: very little storage space
...My experience with the Xbox 360 64MB storage device is that it is fine for storing say 10 games but once you are passed that it becomes a matter of either buying another or just buying a hard drive. I would recommend this to a first time buyer of an Xbox 360 as when u have just bought one it generally would come with a game or games. So if you would rather just play through those games I would advise the 64MB storage device as it's cheaper than cashing out on a hard drive at that point in time.
The disadvantages of these though are if you buy an Xbox live gold subscription you won't be able to download nearly enough which would mean that the money you spent on the 64MB storage device would have been wasted so in this case the storage device is almost pointless. So in conclusion I would say that this is a good purchase for beginner Xbox...

To MP3 or not, that is the question
Advantages: Cool design, size, price now.
Disadvantages: Slightly underspecced now.
.... With the supplied player you can get just over one album on to the player. With an upgrade of a 64Mb memory card this increases to about 6 albums. That makes it significantly better than the CD player in this respect.
PRICE
This cost £169.99 I know they are significantly cheaper now so do shop around. For this price you would expect an MP3 player with considerably more memory.
OVERALL
Well, I'm sorry to say that overall my need for a bargain wins. The MP3 player is great. Coupled with the ability to download from the Internet it is truly fab but ... it's not that much better that I would part with the money needed to buy this. I'm sticking with my personal CD player but hey ... it's only an opinion....

Belkin 64MB Memory Stick
Advantages: Reliable, Good value for money!
Disadvantages: Can lose easily
...After months of using a set of 1.44mb floppy disks, to transfer data from from pc, to school, and back again, I descided that this just wasn't very efficient. I lost a lot of work from a floppy disk suddenly deciding to stop working.
I decided to buy a usb flash drive or memory stick, when I borrowed my teachers', to transfer a large file home. This was when I decided to buy one of these myself, and get rid of my floppy disks.
These USB sticks are very useful, they can store a lot of data(64mb) and they are fairly reliable, I have had no problems in the 2 months, that I have been using it.
The USB drives are very simple to use! Just plug them into the USB port at the front, or the back of your computer, or laptop and the computer will detect it straight away, no installation required(windows 2000+). To remove the memory stick...

Download music in minutes
Advantages: Easy to install on your PC. Quick downloads
Disadvantages: No FM tuner
...a case and belt clip if you want to use this instead.
All the controls are handy and easy to use, and it has a very clear LCD display, with a backlight.
The backlight can drain the single AA battery it uses very quickly though, so you’re better disabling this.
The battery will last you about seven or eight hours in normal use.
It has CD sound quality but you get better quality if you use a good set of stereo headphones.
There are four preset settings for different kinds of music. Rock, jazz, classical and normal. If these don’t suit your own tastes, then you can adjust the bass and treble settings to suit what you prefer.
The Rio has 64 MB of memory, and with good transfer speeds of the Internet via the USB connection, you can download music within minutes rather than hours.
One big drawback of the Rio is that it hasn...

An excellent choice
Advantages: .
Disadvantages: .
...This device oozes quality. Boasting an impressive 64 Mb of internal flash memory as standard, with the ability to increase this capacity with SmartMedia cards this player should have enough space for most people’s needs. The LCD display is well lit and easily readable and buttons on the face easily accessible and well positioned for the best and most comfortable use. A wheel at the side allows the user to access other functions other the play/pause, stop, forward, rewind functions provided by the buttons at the front; such functions as backlighting the display and menu functions. Conenction for file transfer is via the USB port which means that files are transferred faster.
On the downside, some of the functions are not exactly user friendly with there being one way too do things and one way only, there is no room for error...

Small Simple but fully featured
Advantages: Small simple but fully-featured
Disadvantages: I guess the peak volume could be higher
...fit more. Pairing that up with an additional 64MB on a flash card, you could conceivably have up to 6 albums' worth of 64kbit MP3s! That's just really, really cool.
Of course, everyone who tries it has to prove to themselves that it doesn't skip, so they shake the heck out of it. No kids, it doesn't skip.
One thing to check if you get one... check the firmware revision. Mine came shipped with version 1.04, and the current as of this writing is 2.12. It's a quick, easy upgrade and increases the capabilities of the Rio.
The MP3 player cost £180.
STRENGTHS:
It's all that and more. Small, simple, but fully-featured.
WEAKNESSES:
* The supplied software sucks to an amazing degree. It tries to be your MP3 player on your PC and requires you to build a list of files, then create a playlist, then you can upload to the player. I...

A fun little toy
Advantages: FAST file transfer
Disadvantages: space is tight
...Recently I started going to the gym, and I decided that the cruddy radio station they piped through the place was just not good enough to exercise. So I decided to get a walkman type device. I immediately ruled out tape and CD players, and limited my choices to MP3 and Minidisk players. I decided to get the Rio 500 and a friend got a Minidisk player.
Now each has there strengths and weaknesses so its all a matter of personal preference. And it seems that everything that the MP3 player is good at the minidisk sucks at, and vise-versa.
SOUND: It sounds REALLY good with your typical 128bit MP3s, on a minidisk it sounds not so good very hissy. The minidisk does win in sound quality then you use the optical out to record from a CD.
RECORDING: It takes about 5 minuets to fill the 64 meg of space, not too shabby. This is the BIG drawback...
