Celestion AVR300 DVD & AV Receiver

Advantages: Slim Format; great sound (when properly set up)
Disadvantages: Brief manual; clunky menus

...This is a great looking system, and has a great sound but only after you have worked out how to get the best out of it. The manual assumes a certain level of knowledge regarding AV and Hi-Fi set up and terminology, which is not always useful. I certain amount of trial and error may be required but the Average Man in the Street. To compound this the remote is a clone of an old panasonic tv unit that appears to have been reprogrammed to handle the Celestion controls with little thought of ergonomics. However, if this unit finds itself in the hands of an AV officinardo, and the style and sound deserves it to be, and who has a unversial remote, then the owner should be presented with a rich and rewarding movie sound and sharp clear images. Live like Sultans in the Mary Celeste!

Advantages: Very comfortable base.
Disadvantages: Too quiet and facilities not available.

...recommend it if you are just wanting a base, but it has very little for children and no entertainment in the evening, this didn't bother us. Will we go back? If the price is right, we may well! Cost **** Booked through our vacation/timeshare deals it was very reasonable, but it is worth searching the internet for cheap rates. For instance Low cost beds have it priced from £54 a night for a 1 bedroom apartment in January to £75 in June. Mary Celeste? Well it was like a ghost hotel and very close to the sea! For real Hi Fi novices the loud speakers are the delivery part of the Hi Fi system, the part that delivers the noise and the musical notes. ...Feisty pop duo Daphne and Celeste please the critics with their first album - 'We didn't say that'. Perfectly crafted this is pure satirical sassy pop genius. Although the girls don't write any of the material the lyrics seem very natural and fun. They have attitude and are not afraid to use it on the album boasting top 20 singles 'Ooh Stick You' and the anthem 'UGLY'. Each track stands on its own which is why i am dissapointed that the only cover, 'School's Out' has been chosen as the new single. Highlights include the triabl 'Roll Call', the intelligent 'I love your sushi' and 'Hey Boy' a ballad which still manages to fit in their spiteful couplets. ...YUCK!!! S Club 7 are one of the worst groups around! You would have thought that as we entered into the new millennium we could have got some better quality music. I mean S Club 7 are about as good as the likes of Daphne and Celeste and Aaron Carter. Why on earth did the record companies sign them? Their only fans are the 4 and 5 year olds that don't know any better and quite frankly this group sucks. I hate S Club 7 because they are so cheesy, their songs are all the same and all they seem to do is flaunt their bad acting skills and bad dress sense. Incredibly sad....
