The down side is there is no air conditioning, but when your staying in a room costing about £28 what would you expect.
The breakfast is not included in the price , but is only about £6 and its eat all you like with hot, cold and cereal options. I have never had an evening meal there, Bordeaux has far too many other choices!

Outside Bordeaux you have places such as the Dordoigne and Arcachon both of which are tourisity places but both are very nice. Dordoigne is famous for its beauty whilst arcachon is a Sea side resort which has many wonderful beaches with great restaurants and bars...
