A Very Very Good Hair Day!

.... The straighteners themselves, heat up in probably around 8-10 seconds, and so saved me a lot of time. I was already impressed. They are specifically designed to work at a heat that will only straighten your hair and not burn it, as some straighteners are known to overheat. When I started to run them through my hair, my hair immediatly straightened, with none of the fuss of my previous straighteners, and I didnt need to do each piece of hair more than once. They are very easy to use, with a small frame which is easy to grasp in your hand. The thin streamline heaters, are perfect if your hair is shorter, like mine, but also work just as well on long hair. The cord is long enough to stretch a good few feet, so you dont have to hover around the socket (as I did with my last pair). Excellent Straighteners & a Great Gift

Advantages: Durable, Perfect Straight Hair, So Simple To Use
Disadvantages: Don't use on wet hair it damages them

...I won't go into amazing detail as there are so many good reviews on here but i bought these for my girlfriend as she kept borrowing out her old GHD's which her friend seemed to ruin and she loves them. She is a hairdresser and swears by GHD she should actually just change jobs and promote them that?s how passionate and convincing she can be. And to quote her in some way - Yes they are more expensive than most of the other brands but unless you are really unlucky you will never need to own another pair of straighteners again as they are so good and durable. The fact that she can do hers & my hair in just one stoke achieving perfect straightness is amazing and after seeing others struggle and steam go flying into the hair i recommend you spend the extra pennies because it is worth it. Great for short thin hair

Advantages: Heat very quickly
Disadvantages: Unable to cope with my thick hair

...I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would recommend these to anyone with shorter or thin hair. A fashion conscientious male friend of mine used these and loved them and were perfect for his short hair. I would recommend using the straightening oil with these as they are very hot and I did find a few burnt strands of hair ....

They heat up in under twenty second- when the little red LED has stopped flashing they are ready to use and it also makes a funny noise to let you know when they are ready. The straighteners irons themselves are solid ceramic, not ceramic plated like most straighteners. This means an evenly hot distribution of heat through out the plates. They can get very hot and they heat uo to a maximum temperature of 210 degrees alowing them to produce a poker straight finish. To get the best result you shout section your hair into different parting and straighten it in sections it may take a little longer but will give you a better overall outcome. I told her that my sister's wedding was coming up and I'd really like to take control of my hair so that it looked half decent for the photographs. She washed and trimmed my hair as normal and then added some l'Oreal Protective Hair Serum. Only a small amount, about the size of a grape. This was stroked in from the roots downwards and the hair then blow dryed until it was completely dry. Smooth looking straight hair

...I love it! calling it a straightner doesn't not do it justice, it styles hair into pretty much any shape. I personally love the perfect curls i can create myself. It even comes with a dvd to show you how to straighten, wave, and curl your into different looks, so you can try something new everyday. They flash and beep when they are hot enough and they only take about 20 seconds to heat up, therefore there's a super quick cool down time too.
