The main aim of the chair is so your baby/child can sit up at the table with you, (there is no food tray) therefore encouraging your little one to join in with the family and feel a part of what is going on. the way the highchair has been designed means that it doesn't take up much space and is solid so won't tip over. it is pleasant to look at so doesn't have to be hidden away. the main design with the seat and foot plate is that they can be moved up or down to accomodate your child's size, encouraging them to sit up straight and with their feet on a base rather than hanging freely. Most highchairs i've seen, the child ends up sitting slouched or has slid down and ends up in a twisted position. ...My husband found this chair and we have been very happy with it. We live in a small house and have no where to store a high chair so we got this chair in black (to match our table) and it stays at the table with our chairs. Our son is now 12 months old and we have been using it with him since he was 6 months. We have never used the restraints on it and our son has always sat very upright in it. Other high chairs that he has sat in, he has slumped forward in. This one keeps him in excellent posture. It sits right up to the table and is a perfect height. He sits with us at the table at lunch and dinner and he feels more part of the family. The Tripp Trapp is supposed to encourage good eating habits and manners from an early age as the baby eats at the table with you instead of to the side with a tray. The cost is justified by...

The devil's chair

Advantages: Lots of twists and keeps you guessing to the last minute
Disadvantages: can be a little confusing, all in all a good film

I love this chair!

Advantages: Excellent quality, really solid, baby can join in family meals at the table
Disadvantages: Personally haven't found any yet.....

...I'm so pleased with this chair! The Tripp Trapp is a Swedish design which has been developed in order to grow with your baby right through to adulthood. They have been around for ages, and I know various family friends who have had the same chair(s) for twenty-five years, now using them at the computer or still at the kitchen table. So the longevity of a product like that is a distinct advantage, particularly since with highchairs the usual shelf-life is so short and they end up in the loft / cellar after a few years. The quality of the wood, and the design, contributes to this longevity. It really feels solid. You have to build it yourself but it's only a few parts and the instructions are very easy to follow. Disadvantages: Sometimes a little uncomfortable to read.

...On one of my many, many trips to my local library I was thrilled to discover that there was another book sale, unfortunately the books on sale were not of the usual reading material that I go for, hence the review I will now write. The book I will now review is ? The binding chair by Kathryn Harrison? As I stated earlier this is not the sort of book I would normally go for, more of a semi fictional history book this only appealed in the fact that it was A, on sale for 20p, and B, I liked the cover! (Sorry I am so shallow!). The cover doesn?t really give much indication as to what the book is about, aside from the fact that the binding chair in question is the piece of apparatus that Chinese girls sat in to have there feet bound. Not being that knowledgeable on the subject of Chinese history or the barbaric traditions behind...

...In summer 2006 i visited Norway with my car. We went to the northest point and therefore i can write a few lines about nice alps - not alps from central europe but alps from Norway. These are close to biggest city above the polar circle called Tromso. As I said it is behind polar circle and therefore in summer the sun there never goes down - there is no sunset for months. This makes climbing mountains verz interesting there because you dont need to hurry to be down before sunset:) We have driven to the village that is on the seaside in front of alps and there i bought a map. ...The fisher price laugh and learn musical chair is an excellent toy, a great learning fun toy. my son had this for christmas 2007 and has not stopped playing with it since then so it must be a fab toy as normally things get forgotted within a week or so. The laugh and learn chair has 2 great modes of play to chose from music time or learning time, baby sits on the chair to activate either learning or music to sing along to. Learn colours, numbers, counting, animals and opposties. I bought mine when my baby was 6 months old complete with the baby kit for around £125.00. It was simple to assemble and feels very sturdy and stable. Alex was comfortable in it from to word go, and it blends in well with the rest of our furniture. It is available in a large range of wood finishes to blend in with any decor. The high chair is designed without a tray so that you child gets used to eating at the table with the rest of the family from an early age. I was very wary of this at first and almost didn't purchase it for that reason but I must say that I have not missed the tray one little bit. ...I bought this chair for my daughter Christmas 2008 who was 18 months old at the time and she absolutely loves it. It's safe, brightly coloured with music and flashing lights, what more can a toddler ask for? Inside the box You'll find the assembly instructions, they are a little vague just pictures with numbers and arrows, but they do the required job. There is also the chair, in 8 pieces, granted 4 of those are the feet. Assembly In all i would say it would take 10/15 minutes to put together. Unless your me who decided not to read the instructions and take my chance to click it all into place in the wrong order, therefore spending an hour on Christmas Eve pulling at it to try and undo it again, failing to do so and unscrewing parts, to start all over again. But then if was easy to take apart it...
