...Champion is the second largest supermarket chain in France. They are one of the Carrefour group. Champion supermarkets are also in other countries Belgium, Spain, Poland, Greece and Turkey and in South America, Argentina, Brazil. But I have only shopped in them in France. The first store opened in October 1969 in Bayeux France. Champion supermarkets are much like other large supermarkets I guess. There is a large store in Calais and Champion sell brand name items and their own label items too .They sell household items for cleaning, other household items too brushes , crockery , toiletries ,dairy products, meat fresh vegetables tinned food , chilled foods , ready made meals , frozen foods. Wine. Several familiar British goods are available Lots of things more than I remember. The items for sale are displayed fairly well...

Advantages: Superb kids book
Disadvantages: simple

...I’m terrible, granted not the best introduction to a review, but it’s true. I have no will power whatsoever, my local Tesco has a charity table on the outward door with books on it. Books for me are what Donuts are for Homer Simpson, “hmmmm books”, so you can imagine what I’m like walking past a table full of dodgy old paperbacks going for a small charitable donation. The trouble is I never find the time to read them. I try to be strong but when I saw Roald Dahl’s Danny Champion of the World I couldn’t help myself, I justified myself by thinking I’d write a review on it, so this is my justification. SIMPLY CHAMPION

Advantages: Beautiful story and Characters
Disadvantages: Don`t be daft it`s by Roald Dahl

The book has so many elements to it that it needs repeated reading just to appreciate them all. Advantages: Some great title matches, surprising outcomes, and big names
Disadvantages: Some of the first matches were a bit slow and at times not entertaining

Champion vs Cheap

...Earlier on today i borrowed my friends hat and it was the champion ventair riding hat. This hat meets the EN1384 and the PAS 015 standards so this means it is classed as safe and you could wear it at riding schools etc. For £80-100 i wasn't overly impressed as i didnt think it was anything too special and didnt differ from my hat thats 1/2 the price! My hat is a 6 3/4 and the one i borrowed was a 6 7/8 but it was very very tight so if your going to purchase without trying i wouldnt! TRY B4 U BUY :) although the hat looks very stylish apart from the champion it is nearly identical to my less than 1/2 price version. The only thing i did prefer about this hat over mine was the chin strap that was very cushioned and i really liked that. You can adjust the harness at the back of the hat as it is on a drawstring design so it does enable...

Review of Champion Hats

The Stylish Champion Ventair.

Advantages: Comfortable, Stylish, Good value, Well built and Well ventilated.
Disadvantages: NONE!!!!

...A very comfortable and good value hat, which is incredibly well vented and offers wonderful protection to the rider, I would recommend this hat to everybody for its smart style, comfortable fit, and all round versatility. Despite having fallen off twice in this hat and having landed on my head on both occasions it is still in very good condition (although I would normally encourage replacing any hat after a fall this was not an option for me as a result of my limited finance.) and unlike most hats that leave your head feeling hot and sticky in the summer if worn for any substantial length of time the Champion Ventair allows enough air to circulate so this problem is avoided without me being left feeling that the hat is not solidly built....

That tastes Champion, flower....

...In the second of my series of opinions about beers for the summer I am turning to a bottled ale. This beer is produced by the Badger Brewery, owned by Hall and Woodhouse. It was originally produced for Tesco, as part of their 1998 Beer Challenge to find a perfect summer beer, and it was declared the winner ? it was classed as the ideal summer brew! It has since been a firm favourite amongst the supermarkets where it is sold (and from those who buy it direct from the Badger Brewery). What is this creation? Golden Champion Ale of course! I won?t repeat the brewery information I gave in my previous opinion about their Tanglefoot Ale (a very subtle hint to read it if you haven?t already! LOL!) Suffice it to say that they are based in Blandford St. Mary, Dorset and they have been brewing some wonderful beers since 1899. Some names...

Advantages: Excellent cutting under any conditions, robust, reliable.
Disadvantages: Pity it's not British!!!

...I bought my CHAMPION 20" rotary lawnmower from Do-It-All 4 years ago. It was a big 20" machine, sturdy and well made, of American manufacture. The price was extremely cheap compared to similar sized machines (only £135). It had a 3.5 HP Briggs Stratten engine, and I felt it was too good to resist. I have nearly 1/2 acre of lawns on 3 levels, so a sit-on mower is not practical. With some 20 cuts of the lawn each year, mowers do not last too long with me before they begin to break down. But THIS MACHINE has never needed any attention whatsoever. It cuts long grass up to almost 12 inches high like a dream, and even cuts grass when it is very wet. If the grass is both long and wet, it does compact underneath and not throw the grass back into the large bag, but how many machines would under these conditions??? The 20" wide cut is...
