Yet another great perfume by Chanel. I first aquired a bottle of Allure as a birthday present from a close friend, who obviously knows me very well!! It was a 100ml Eau de toilette Spray, which lasted me well over a year. The bottle (as above) is a simple rectangular glass bottle, with ALLURE written across the top section of it in pink. It has a silver spray, which has a silver cap, with a gold band around it, also containing the word ALLURE. However if you get the parfum, then it comes in the classic cut glass Chanel bottle, with glass stopper. In the centre of which is a gold box conting the words ALLURE and CHANEL. Alluring Allure

Advantages: wonderful smell

...I do have a few vices, smoking,drinking,cosmetics and designer perfumes are the only one's I'm going to fess up to on here! Perfume to me is a must have, I just love the way a perfume can say so much about it's wearer and there's the associated feel good factor as well. Chanel Allure rapidly made it onto my dressing table after I smelt it on a work mate. Now my ex work mate was a very sophisticated no nonsense Danish nurse who had a certain air about her, she turned heads as she strood around the department, wafting the most beautiful smell but was so totally oblivious to the effect she was having on our mainly aged male patients! I had to have a bottle of this stuff not to turn the heads of the over 65's but because it smelt so wonderful! ...“Allure” pour ‘Homme’ by ‘Chanel’ is a fairly expensive after-shave lotion, putting it in the same range as ‘Hugo Boss’ and CKOne. This gives it stiff competition in such a range, which I feel it clearly stands up to. The simple packaging displays an obviously designer after-shave, as most expensive makes use this sort of packaging. ...How did it get here? It came in the post in January 2008. My sister sent it and I didn't know what it was until I opened it. A box and inside a pot of Chanel Allure Sensuelle Body Cream. I opened it, rubbed some on my arms that were the only part of me that was uncovered in January, said "Oh, lovely" and put it away. What happened next? Come Easter, after telling my sister it was too good to slather all over and surely I couldn't put it on my legs to which she said of course you can I got it out again. By then shorts were worn occasionally at home and the legs in question were white, dry and rough so I rubbed some in and more into my arms. What does it look like? The Box is a maroon colour, looking very swish, the pot is also maroon with the Chanel logo on the top and some informative small writing on the bottom...
