A great collection of in the night garden characters

Advantages: nice bright colours, strong and strudy, small and compact to even travel with

...After seeing and finding out for myself how popular the in the night garden TV show on cbeebies had become and how addicted my 2 year old daughter had become with watching the show, at the time I thought it would be a good idea to buy her the character figurines from eBay for around £11.50. When the characters finally come by royal mail my daughter was so excited that she even started singing some of the songs from the show. In the box are 6 popular character figurines from the main TV programme such as Upsy Daisy, Iggle Piggle, Makka Pakka, and all 3 of the tombliboos, -Un, Oo and Ee. They are made from idestructive plastic that is quite strong and versatile and sure is made to last for a good few years. My daughter loves imaginative play as this was the perfect buy for her and has spent many good hours playing with the figurines...

Strength of Character

Advantages: fun, silly, nostalgic

Purdey was the first female in a TV series that I can remember who wasn?t a complete wimp who hid screaming as the men rushed to protect her. Nor was she a ballbreaking ugly old bat who hated men. Instead Purdey was feminine and strong. In one scene she might be kicking the baddies to the ground with a swish of her long legs flying from beneath as pretty skirt. In the next she could be using her feminine wiles to undermine and outsmart an opponent. She worked alongside men; not above or below. All of my girl mates and I wanted to be her! And all the lads thought she was great ? a perfect girlfriend in their eyes, although I do wonder how the average 1970?s teenage lad would have coped meeting a girl with such a strong sense of self in...

Many splendid characters

...This was one thing that I did not have to think very hard about in the slightest, may be because all my top ten favourite childrens story book characters are all related. Yes, they are in fact the good old Mr Men. Being born in the early 70's I have grown up with many of these lovable fella's. Then there were only a few, but, now in total there are 43 Mr Men. A quick run down on how they all got started. The first Mr Men book to be unleased on our book shelves was the good old Mr Tickle and that was in 1971. Mr Tickle started life when the late Roger Hargreaves tried to describe to his son what a tickle looked like, he drew an orange body with long wiggley arms and his loveable grin, and now 100 million copies and 15 languages later we have a whole family of Mr Men as well as Little Miss which started in the 1980's. Unbeatable characters!

Advantages: Funny, good at acting, THE BEST!!

...This is a list of my favourite TV characters of all time, including a wide range of comedy characters from the best and funniest programmes on tele! Well here goes!- JOINT TENTH- Lou And Andy (David Walliams & Matt Lucas) - Little Britain Lou genuinely cares for his "disabled" friend Andy and is a thoughtful character. Andy takes advantage of this a lot! My top ten tv characters

It is going to be so difficult to just list my top ten favourite characters as there are so many different programmes I watch with many different characters. I shall start with the best and work my way backwards!! 1) Homer Simpson - I love the Simpson?s and have watched since the 90's. I like all the characters but Homer has to be my number 1 as he is so like my partner apart from the yellow skin. Homer has a fantastic personality and sense of humour. ...Ok its about time i done another CIAO Cafe review and here is one i found whilst having a look at the list. Well here goes my 10 best characters 10. ARTHUR DALY - he reminds me of an uncle of mine who is always up to no good in face we actually nicknamed my uncle Arthur Daly. I always liked the ways Arthur would try to dodge out of paying Terry his wages and all his different scams he had going. 9. ...have told you a hell of a lot already and as you can already guess, I totally enjoyed watching this film and wouldn't mind watching it over and over again. I shall say that my mom didn't particularly like this film due to the same reason I absolutely loved the film, which has probably got you thinking a lot more. I enjoyed how they included you in the film and how you felt as if you were running away from this dangerous thing as well. You felt as if you were part of the cast; however there was not "CUT" or "ACTION". You felt more like a character rather than an actor, and the way they did this was totally different. It was made in a way no film has ever dared to do. I think the style, in which they did it, depend upon who you are. It's basically a bit like Marmite, you'll either love it or you hate it.
