Although slightly larger than the original Fitbit bands, the Charge HR has the benefit of a screen to allow instant visual feedback and a watch feature. I also preferred the option of a watch style strap. Another key feature of the Fitbit Charge HR was that it constantly monitors your heart rate which helps provide more detailed feedback...

Towards the end of 2014, I started hearing about some new models of fitbit that were coming out. These were the Charge, the Charge HR, and the Surge. All sounded fantastic, and the higher up the range you went, the more whistles and bells were included...

AdvantagesThe batteries stay charged in items that aren't used very often and are powerful batteries

DisadvantagesThere aren't any but they are a bit more expensive than standard rechargeable AAA batteries

...I bought our pack of four AAA Duracell Stay Charged batteries by mistake when I was shopping for some rechargeable batteries in this size, it wasn't a mistake buying them because they are rechargeable but they have an extra advantage that makes them keep their charge if you keep them in an item that isn't used regularly. I know exactly where all four of ours are as they were bought for one...
