...I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from...

Budget accomodation gem

...The premier travelinn at charing cross Glasgow is perfect for the city break on a budget or for a conveniently positioned based when on business in the city. This is a large 12 storey hotel with a restaurant and bar on the first floor. All room are on suite and the price is per room not per person so if you are a family you get extra value from the family rooms at no extra cost. All rooms have remote control T.V. with selected digital channels (No satelite), tea and coffee making facilities and comfortable beds with additional bedding if required. Breakfast isn't included in the price and to be honest it isn't worth it anyway. As the hotels main negative the breakfast is luke warm and tasteless; got out for breakfast there are no shortages of local cafes and diners in close proximity. Noughts and Crosses

Advantages: gripping storyline and you won't want to put it down!
Disadvantages: time!

...Well, I don't particuarlly enjoy reading, but I don't dislike it, however if I have the house to myself I love to have a nice warm bubble bath then pick up a good book! I picked up this book the other day in Waterstones for around £5.99, although it was in the junior - young adult section I have heard nothing but good reviews about it! The storyline is about racism and the way that blacks used to be inferior to the whites, but this time it is reversed in this revoloutionary book! Noughts and crosses gives you much of the information you need to know to understand the book, the blacks which are the dominant and powerful race are the crosses, while the whites which are little anad controlled by the crosses are the noughts. A very American and very British Love Affair

Advantages: A humourous and poignant love story
Disadvantages: maybe a little dated in some respects

Advantages: Everything about it, this book is really amazing!

...I have just finished reading this book, as we started reading it in my English class, and I was unable to put it down, I can truly say it is the best I have read in a long, long time. I'm writing this review because I wish to tell others about this amazing book, because they are missing so much in not reading it.   Animal Crossing goes urban

Advantages: You get to go to the city, better graphics
Disadvantages: Expensive, not hugely different from the DS version

...After playing Animal Crossing on the DS for a couple of years and finding that the game hadn't lost any of its addictiveness, we decided to get the Wii version. We were unsure what the differences would be between the DS and Wii versions as the only noticeable difference in the TV ads and on the packaging was the subtitle 'Let's go to the city'. I also spied a bus on the adverts that definitely wasn't in my old DS version. The back of the box alludes vaguely to what the differences are, but it didn't really explain it very clearly. However, the lack of explanation and the super cheesy adverts on TV with girls playing over the internet didn't put us off and, as we had some GAME vouchers, we decided to buy it anyway. Animal Crossing on the Wii

Advantages: Fun, easy
Disadvantages: Repetative

...Animal Crossing: Let?s Go to the City: Wii Until Christmas I had never heard of the animal crossing games but the other half got me this with my Wii because it looked ?cute?. I really enjoy it. On Let?s go to the City you arrive at your town, (which you can name), after a ride on a bus and a chat with a mouse who tells you a few things and let?s you choose your name etc. When you arrive at your ton you need to head on over to the Town Hall, (you have a handy map to help you find your way around), and then buy a house. You get a hefty mortgage and you have to earn cash, (by selling bugs, fish, fruit etc), to buy clothes, furniture and of course to pay off your debt. As you pay off your mortgage you can upgrade your house which gives you another hue chunk of debt to work off! Your town will change as the year progresses with fishing...

...As usual I'm reading books in the wrong order, I've jumped from Double Cross straight to Cross Country without reading the two or three books in between, but I don't think this has spoilt my enjoyment of this book. Synopsis Alex is called on to help the investigation of the deaths of an entire family, when he gets there he realises one of them is Eleanor Cox his ex girlfriend. Witnesses have mentioned that the perpetrators, although masked seemed to be very young, they could even children. Soon there is another mass killing and once again Alex, Bree and John are called in to investigate, yet again it seems that children are involved. All too quickly Alex discovers that the person they want for these murders has left the country, but Alex can't just leave it there, he wants to bring him to justice for Eleanor?s sake, and to do so...

Crossing over

Advantages: appealing for kids, never ending gameplay

...We had decided to buy my daughter a Nintendo Ds for Christmas, and one of the games that she had almost begged for was Animal Crossing. I have watched her friends play this in the past and never really understood what it was all about as they told me there weren't really things to do, and you kind of did what you wanted! This in mind when we bought the machine and game a few weeks before Christmas, there was no option but for me to play it in secret without her catching me! The game itself is suitable for anybody aged six and over, and I would suggest no younger than this because of the depth of the game. Currently priced at £29.99, it's an averagely priced Ds game according to its popularity. I will say that after playing for a while, and then watching my eleven year old play it, there is a lot to the game that a child may not...
