My hair's got bigger!

Advantages: Conditions well, not too heavy, makes my hair feel thick but still bouncy
Disadvantages: You need to be prepared for the "big hair" effect when blow-drying!

...A conditioner is a conditioner is a conditioner - isn't it? It has taken me a shamefully long time after reviewing the shampoo to get round to the conditioner, but please be assured I have been conditioning my hair . . . I just haven't got round to committing my thoughts to paper (or to be more accurate, "virtual Post-it note thing on the Stickies application on my MacBook!") until halfway through the bottle. I have a tendency to switch between different products in the same range at the moment, partly to try them out and partly because I'm trying to avert the "if I like a product, the shops will discontinue it" jinx I seem to put on various beauty products. Fortunately Boots have never discontinued Charles Worthington's entire range. As I mentioned when reviewing the Full Volume Shampoo, I opted for this conditioner (and obviously...

Review of Charles Worthington Big Hair Full Volume Conditioner

Charles Worthington Dream Hair.

Advantages: The title says it all.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of, a little on the pricey side.

...These hair care products definately get my vote when it comes to professional haircare. I have recently tried the Charles Worthington Dream Hair Heavenly Hairwash Shampoo and Seeing is Believing Conditioner, when the two haircare products are combined, they leave your hair feeling gently scented and full of body and shine, Charles Worthington products are a little on the pricey side, but they do give good results, a lot of shops such as Boots and Superdrug stock these items, Charles Worthington are continualy bringing out new products in their range. Good if you can get the bargains in Boots because they have a three for two offer on at the moment. Charles Worthington do haircare products for specific hairtypes which is good because you can use the products that are particularly good for your specific haircare needs....

Charles Worthington's Great

Advantages: Leaves your hair looking fab
Disadvantages: Can be more expensive that other shampoos

...This shampoo is quite expensive - but in my opinion definately worth it. Initally l was introduce to the product by a hairdresser friend, who recommended it, l then saw that Boots had a special offer on so l thought ld give it a go. A little goes a long way. You dont need to use half the bottle to wash your hair, and after one wash you can tell your hair is clean. It lathers up well and smells lovely. Its not difficult to rinse out either. The packaging is quiet contemporary and Mr Worthington has a range of products suitable for all hair types - from those of us with that irriating problem of flaky scalps to you lucky people with normal hair! He also produces styling products to use along side these lines. I would recommend that you use his conditioner alongside the shampoo so that you notice the real difference. My...

Review of Charles Worthington Big Hair

Big on price, Big on smell but not on hair

Advantages: the smell is absolutely gorgeous
Disadvantages: doesn't make hair big, very runny, very expensive

...I’ve never really bothered with Charles Worthington’s hair care range before. But Boots had a three for two offer on so I decided to give it a go. Now my hair isn’t exactly ‘full’, (fine and floppy more like) and it takes load of gel, mousse, hairspray and effort to get it to stay in some kind of style. (If I had the bottle I’d do a Demi Moore and be done with it!) So who is Charles Worthington? He started out with one Salon in 1986, which has now grown to five throughout London. In 1993 he was awarded London ‘Hairdresser of the Year’ and in 1998 won the British title. To top it all he jumped on the old good hairdresser bandwagon and bought out his own range of ‘specially formulated’ hair care. Big Hair was introduced as ‘every fine haired girl’s dream’...

Nightmare Hair!!

Advantages: None except for the pleasant fragrance.
Disadvantages: Doesn't make my locks lustrous as the name suggests!

...This is currently available for £5.49 for a 275ml. However I got this along with the conditioner and the intensive conditioner in a gift set, 3 items for just £15.00 which offered some saving. This comes in a cylindrical, transparent, plastic bottle. It has a large transparent lid on it. Take the lid off and there is thinner section with a flip down side from which to dispense the shampoo. - What is it? - ~ Cleans and cares for dry or damaged hair. ~ Smoothes frizz and flyaways. ~ Restores manageability. ~ Will leave your hair vibrant, shiny and silky smooth. ~ Enriched with pearl and silk extracts to add natural moisture to your hair. - My Experience - * Smell and Appearance This shampoo has quite a strong perfumed scent to it which is fresh and vibrant. The manufacturer's statement that it...

Amazing Results from Charles Worthington

Advantages: Results, price, quick to use
Disadvantages: None

...I?ve been buying Charles Worthington Take Aways Frizz Taming Serum for a while now, in a futile attempt to make my hair do something vaguely like what I want it to do. I went to buy myself a new bottle the other day, but when I arrived in the shop I realised that I was only buying it out of habit, and in fact it is a complete waste of money. I decided I needed to try something new, but after looking through shelves of over-priced serums and sprays, I went back to the Charles Worthington shelf and decided to give one of the other products a chance. I chose Charles Worthington Take Aways Hair Healer Intensive Leave-In Conditioner and here?s my verdict? The conditioner comes in a 50ml bottle with a pump action top to get a small amount of the product out at a time. When I bought it I actually thought it was in a cream coloured plastic...

Charles Well

Advantages: Good product
Disadvantages: Bit pricey

...Being a typical male, when it comes to haircare products, I?m not to fussed about the brand name, as long as it works! When Charles Worthington as on special offer, I thought it may be worth a try, even if it did stretch my student budget. The yellow bottle that it comes in makes the product stand out well, as does the product itself. The shampoo squeezes easily out of the plastic bottle into your hand, and on wet hair rubs in very, producing plenty of bubbles to spread around your scalp. It washes out well, doesn?t leave any greasy residue, smells good and leaves your hair nice and squeaky clean! The product is quite expensive at around five pounds per bottle, but used every other day can last a long time, and gives good value for money, especially if you don?t go overboard by using too much of it each time you wash your hair....

Not Worthington The Money!

Advantages: Frequently On Offers
Disadvantages: Greasy Hair, Lanky Hair, Too Much Packaging.

...I should point out now again this is another product whose name has changed in recent months; it is now called No Frizz Serum. I have unbearable frizzy hair, which I blame my Mum for. As a child I had hair that was neither curly nor straight, whilst my older sister had poker straight locks, I fought tooth and nail to have curls or not and it wasn't until I was about 22, I successfully managed to do so. One of products I use to gain less frizz is a serum. I am not particularly fussy on brands, whatever is on offer or whatever has been recommended to me, I'll give it a go. My reason for choosing Charles Worthington No Frizz Serum was purely because it was £3 in Tesco before Christmas and I felt with a name like Charles Worthington, a top hairdresser, my hair would be in good hands. The serum is packaged in my pet hate way- a small...

HOW TO BE A BIG HEAD!

Advantages: Holds hair, helps increase volume and isn't sticky.
Disadvantages: smell not great and can be pricey!

...I have just got an absolute bargain and I just HAD to tell you all about it! How about a 200ml container of Charles Worthington Big Hair Lift Off Ultrafine Hairspray for £1.00? It is currently for sale in Boots for £3.69, so when I saw it I had to get some for this wonderful price. ~~~BACKGROUND. I had previously had a small container of the spray in a gift pack for Christmas (in a box with a trial size shampoo and conditioner, a handbag sized mirror and a silver hair clip) and was really impressed by the product, but upset that the little aerosol didn?t last very long. I looked at the bigger versions in Boots and Superdrug, but came to the conclusion that cheapskate me wouldn?t pay over three quid for a hairspray! A spray for £1.00 then was a bit of head turner ~ but would the hairspray be? ~~~HOW & WHEN TO APPLY...

Review of Charles Worthington Big Hair

One of the best products for fine hair

Advantages: Volumises and leaves hair shiny and smelling lovely.
Disadvantages: a bit pricey

...I have pretty fine hair and find it really hard to find products which actually volumise my hair. I decided to treat my self to Charles Worthington. Although quite expensive it is packaged beautifully and it really works. Both the shampoo and conditioners in the 'Big Hair' range left my hair shiny, volumised and smelling gorge. I agree it is quite pricey but you really can notice a difference in the thickness of your hair. The smell is also really fresh and leaves a long lasting fragrance. Even though it is pricey aliitle does go a lon way and it lathers a lot and the conditioner glides through the hair really easily. A must for people with fine hair !!...
