...I?ve been buying Charles Worthington Take Aways Frizz Taming Serum for a while now, in a futile attempt to make my hair do something vaguely like what I want it to do. I went to buy myself a new bottle the other day, but when I arrived in the shop I realised that I was only buying it out of habit, and in fact it is a complete waste of money. I decided I needed to try something new, but after looking through shelves of over-priced serums and sprays, I went back to the Charles Worthington shelf and decided to give one of the other products a chance. Good 'Results for Men' by Charles Worthington

Advantages: Masculine smell, good cleaning, lasts a long time
Disadvantages: Looks expensive compared to 'normal' men's shampoos

...I stumbled upon this in a promotional offer at Boots, and decided to give it a try. As I habitually change brand based on the offers available, this has been the first one I've come back to time and again. The product is a shampoo and conditioner in one, and comes in a respectable bottle - not one you'd be ashamed of in the locker room. The dispenser is a pump action (good for the gadget loving male) and a couple of presses seems to give the right amount. The dispenser foams the shampoo on the way out, and it lathers well. While trying to characterise its smell, this one left me stumped. It has a clean but not too soapy smell, with hints of citrus and an overall woody masculine note. Disadvantages: more pricey than a regular conditioner

...hair is left pretty soaking wet even after a towel dry. Blow drying works well, but it takes some of the smoothing properties of the conditioner away. I either wash my hair well in advance of going out, or blow dry in the mornings. Either way, it is a huge improvement to my frizz, tangles and dryness before I discovered this Charles Worthington formula! The bottles come in 255mL or the little 'Take-aways' travel bottles and Boots often has the 3for2 offer on Charles Worthington products. Otherwise a bottle will usually run you about 3.99 Highly recommended for the scent and the results!...

Smells good but poor results

...I got this conditioner along with the shampoo a few months ago for a holiday I was going on. I fancied something new and though this sounded suitable for a hot holiday, as my hair usually goes quite dull when it's exposed to the sun a lot. I had used Charles Worthington Results products before, so thought I would give this range a try. It was £5.35 for 250ml which seemed an ok price for a brand like Charles Worthington. Packaging The packaging is nice and looked good on the shelf with all of the other products in the range. It is a tall straight bottle which is clear so you can see the colour of the conditioner inside. The conditioner is a lovely lilac colour which goes well with the metallic purple lettering saying "Dream Hair" on the front. I have recently tried the Charles Worthington Dream Hair Heavenly Hairwash Shampoo and Seeing is Believing Conditioner, when the two haircare products are combined, they leave your hair feeling gently scented and full of body and shine, Charles Worthington products are a little on the pricey side, but they do give good results, a lot of shops such as Boots and Superdrug stock these items, Charles Worthington are continualy bringing out new products in their range. Good if you can get the bargains in Boots because they have a three for two offer on at the moment. Charles Worthington do haircare products for specific hairtypes which is good because you can use the products that are particularly good for your specific haircare needs....

Charles Worthington Dry Shampoo - definitely worth it!

...Charles Worthington Dry Shampoo is a great product for reviving hair in between washes. It's perfect for when you're in a hurry and don't have time to wash and dry your hair, or if you're staying with friends/boyfriend/etc and need a quick fix! It works like other dry shampoos on the market - it comes out as a spray and sprays white powder onto the hair. You then rub the hair vigorously until the white powder disappears and is absorbed into the hair. It instantly makes hair look fresh and clean. I've used several other dry shampoos on the market, and this is by far the best. Others tend to have a strong distinct smell which hangs around all day, and are not as well "absorbed" into the hair, leaving it looking a little grey if you are blonde, or lighter on brunettes.
