TICKLY TAKES A SHINE TO THIS

Disadvantages: Don't spray near roots - can be greasy

Charles Worthington's Great

Advantages: Leaves your hair looking fab
Disadvantages: Can be more expensive that other shampoos

...This shampoo is quite expensive - but in my opinion definately worth it. Initally l was introduce to the product by a hairdresser friend, who recommended it, l then saw that Boots had a special offer on so l thought ld give it a go. A little goes a long way. You dont need to use half the bottle to wash your hair, and after one wash you can tell your hair is clean. It lathers up well and smells lovely. Its not difficult to rinse out either. The packaging is quiet contemporary and Mr Worthington has a range of products suitable for all hair types - from those of us with that irriating problem of flaky scalps to you lucky people with normal hair! He also produces styling products to use along side these lines. I would recommend that you use his conditioner alongside the shampoo so that you notice the real difference. My...

Shine like a star

Advantages: Leaves hair in a really nice condition.....
Disadvantages: You've got to like the smell of a swimming pool to like this!

.... One thing I didn't really like was the smell. It smells like chlorine. So, I looked on the ingrdients and sure enough (amongst all the other nasty chemicals) there it was- chloride. I also noticed that Charles Worthington don't test their products on animals which is always a good sign. I only tend to use this once a week as I don't really feel up to spending £4 on shampoo every few weeks. It's great to use to refresh my hair but not so good as to use every day. A normal big bottle contains 250ml. I'd say this would last for 30+ washes as you really don't need to use a lot. That's a little over 13p per wash which isn't that bad. I'd also reccomend the Superconditioner from this range. The two both work really well on my hair and when the bottle run out I'll definately be buying more. The Charles Worthington selection is...

Charles Worthington Dream Hair.

Advantages: The title says it all.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of, a little on the pricey side.

...These hair care products definately get my vote when it comes to professional haircare. I have recently tried the Charles Worthington Dream Hair Heavenly Hairwash Shampoo and Seeing is Believing Conditioner, when the two haircare products are combined, they leave your hair feeling gently scented and full of body and shine, Charles Worthington products are a little on the pricey side, but they do give good results, a lot of shops such as Boots and Superdrug stock these items, Charles Worthington are continualy bringing out new products in their range. Good if you can get the bargains in Boots because they have a three for two offer on at the moment. Charles Worthington do haircare products for specific hairtypes which is good because you can use the products that are particularly good for your specific haircare needs....

Smells good but poor results

...I got this conditioner along with the shampoo a few months ago for a holiday I was going on. I fancied something new and though this sounded suitable for a hot holiday, as my hair usually goes quite dull when it's exposed to the sun a lot. I had used Charles Worthington Results products before, so thought I would give this range a try. It was £5.35 for 250ml which seemed an ok price for a brand like Charles Worthington. Packaging The packaging is nice and looked good on the shelf with all of the other products in the range. It is a tall straight bottle which is clear so you can see the colour of the conditioner inside. The conditioner is a lovely lilac colour which goes well with the metallic purple lettering saying "Dream Hair" on the front. ...I have given it a rest for the past year or so in reviewing hair care products. There is always an abundance of them and they all basically say the same thing about the products. Or so I thought the characteristics of conditioners were all the same, until I invested in a bottle of ole Charles Worthington! I used his shampoo and conditioner line for a while back in 2000 and loved the smell of it. Anywhere I went and I smelled someone else with that scent as they walked by, I would savour the scent. I think it was the 'normal hair' variety and was a light yellow hew. After awhile, I stopped using it - not for any particular reason, but because I heard somewhere that it isn't good to use the same shampoo month after month because your hair gets used to the formula. ...Being a typical male, when it comes to haircare products, I’m not to fussed about the brand name, as long as it works! When Charles Worthington as on special offer, I thought it may be worth a try, even if it did stretch my student budget. The yellow bottle that it comes in makes the product stand out well, as does the product itself. The shampoo squeezes easily out of the plastic bottle into your hand, and on wet hair rubs in very, producing plenty of bubbles to spread around your scalp. It washes out well, doesn’t leave any greasy residue, smells good and leaves your hair nice and squeaky clean! The product is quite expensive at around five pounds per bottle, but used every other day can last a long time, and gives good value for money, especially if you don’t go overboard by using too much of it each time you wash your hair....
