Charles Worthington Dry Shampoo - definitely worth it!
Advantages: Pleasant smelling, easily and quickly rubbed in
Disadvantages: More expensive than other products but worth it!
...Charles Worthington Dry Shampoo is a great product for reviving hair in between washes. It's perfect for when you're in a hurry and don't have time to wash and dry your hair, or if you're staying with friends/boyfriend/etc and need a quick fix!
It works like other dry shampoos on the market - it comes out as a spray and sprays white powder onto the hair. You then rub the hair vigorously until the white powder disappears and is absorbed into the hair. It instantly makes hair look fresh and clean.
I've used several other dry shampoos on the market, and this is by far the best. Others tend to have a strong distinct smell which hangs around all day, and are not as well "absorbed" into the hair, leaving it looking a little grey if you are blonde, or lighter on brunettes. Charles Worthington dry shampoo smells pleasant but is not too...

Charles Worthington Gets Poor Results
Advantages: Nice Packaging
Disadvantages: How it makes your hair look
...WHO IS CHARLES WORTHINGTON?

WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS?
I have long hair which I like to try and keep healthy and shiny. Unfortunately since the introduction of hair straighteners my hair seems to be suffering. I was walking round boots and saw this product on offer. Charles Worthington is a hairdresser I have seen in...

Charles Worthington's Great
Advantages: Leaves your hair looking fab
Disadvantages: Can be more expensive that other shampoos
...This shampoo is quite expensive - but in my opinion definately worth it. Initally l was introduce to the product by a hairdresser friend, who recommended it, l then saw that Boots had a special offer on so l thought ld give it a go.
A little goes a long way. You dont need to use half the bottle to wash your hair, and after one wash you can tell your hair is clean. It lathers up well and smells lovely. Its not difficult to rinse out either.
The packaging is quiet contemporary and Mr Worthington has a range of products suitable for all hair types - from those of us with that irriating problem of flaky scalps to you lucky people with normal hair! He also produces styling products to use along side these lines.
I would recommend that you use his conditioner alongside the shampoo so that you notice the real difference.

Hair spray in disguise
Advantages: Works well as hairspray.
Disadvantages: Doesn't do what it's suppost to & smells icky!
...I?m constantly looking for things to liven up my dull, flat hair. When Boots were doing the 3 for 2 on Charles Worthington products I thought it was the ideal time to stock up on hair gear. As I blow-dry my hair every day I thought that this would be ideal to give it a bit of life.
Like the rest of the products in the Results range of Charles Worthington products, the blow dry spray promises to drastically change hair. This particular product will give your hair lift, hold, shine and more body. But does it work?
I went for the whole hog- used the shampoo then conditioner from the same range. I towel dried my hair and then sprayed about four sprays onto my hair before blow-drying it. The actual stuff was quite watery and clear. I sprayed some onto my hands and ran it through my hair to ensure that all of it was equally covered in...

Not Worthington The Money!
Advantages: Frequently On Offers
Disadvantages: Greasy Hair, Lanky Hair, Too Much Packaging.
...I should point out now again this is another product whose name has changed in recent months; it is now called No Frizz Serum.
I have unbearable frizzy hair, which I blame my Mum for. As a child I had hair that was neither curly nor straight, whilst my older sister had poker straight locks, I fought tooth and nail to have curls or not and it wasn't until I was about 22, I successfully managed to do so.
One of products I use to gain less frizz is a serum. I am not particularly fussy on brands, whatever is on offer or whatever has been recommended to me, I'll give it a go. My reason for choosing Charles Worthington No Frizz Serum was purely because it was £3 in Tesco before Christmas and I felt with a name like Charles Worthington, a top hairdresser, my hair would be in good hands.
The serum is packaged in my pet hate way- a small...

Charles Worthington takeaways
Advantages: small, cute and look good in the bathroom!
Disadvantages: too small?
...They were orriginally made for holiday makers who didn't want to lug around their usual size (big and heavy) hair products, but they are the new must have products found in most bathrooms around the country.
Whatever product you're looking for, i garuntee you will find it in the Charles Worthington collection, found conveiniently in most boots stores up and down the country. The collection contains shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, serums, hairspray and other finishing products, for various hair types and even a 'holiday hair' range - specialising in protecting your hair in the heat.
They're a good buy if you're unsure about buying a product. These cheap, small, takeaways are the perfect solution as you can decide for yopurself whether they're worth splashing out for the full size product (which they are...

Amazing Results from Charles Worthington
Advantages: Results, price, quick to use
Disadvantages: None
...I?ve been buying Charles Worthington Take Aways Frizz Taming Serum for a while now, in a futile attempt to make my hair do something vaguely like what I want it to do. I went to buy myself a new bottle the other day, but when I arrived in the shop I realised that I was only buying it out of habit, and in fact it is a complete waste of money. I decided I needed to try something new, but after looking through shelves of over-priced serums and sprays, I went back to the Charles Worthington shelf and decided to give one of the other products a chance. I chose Charles Worthington Take Aways Hair Healer Intensive Leave-In Conditioner and here?s my verdict?
The conditioner comes in a 50ml bottle with a pump action top to get a small amount of the product out at a time. When I bought it I actually thought it was in a cream coloured plastic...

Charles Worthington Dream Hair.
Advantages: The title says it all.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of, a little on the pricey side.
...These hair care products definately get my vote when it comes to professional haircare. I have recently tried the Charles Worthington Dream Hair Heavenly Hairwash Shampoo and Seeing is Believing Conditioner, when the two haircare products are combined, they leave your hair feeling gently scented and full of body and shine, Charles Worthington products are a little on the pricey side, but they do give good results, a lot of shops such as Boots and Superdrug stock these items, Charles Worthington are continualy bringing out new products in their range. Good if you can get the bargains in Boots because they have a three for two offer on at the moment. Charles Worthington do haircare products for specific hairtypes which is good because you can use the products that are particularly good for your specific haircare needs....

Charles Well
Advantages: Good product
Disadvantages: Bit pricey
...Being a typical male, when it comes to haircare products, I?m not to fussed about the brand name, as long as it works! When Charles Worthington as on special offer, I thought it may be worth a try, even if it did stretch my student budget. The yellow bottle that it comes in makes the product stand out well, as does the product itself. The shampoo squeezes easily out of the plastic bottle into your hand, and on wet hair rubs in very, producing plenty of bubbles to spread around your scalp. It washes out well, doesn?t leave any greasy residue, smells good and leaves your hair nice and squeaky clean!
The product is quite expensive at around five pounds per bottle, but used every other day can last a long time, and gives good value for money, especially if you don?t go overboard by using too much of it each time you wash your hair....

Worth it for Worthington
Advantages: Smells great, no residue
Disadvantages: more pricey than a regular conditioner
...I have given it a rest for the past year or so in reviewing hair care products. There is always an abundance of them and they all basically say the same thing about the products. Or so I thought the characteristics of conditioners were all the same, until I invested in a bottle of ole Charles Worthington!
I used his shampoo and conditioner line for a while back in 2000 and loved the smell of it. Anywhere I went and I smelled someone else with that scent as they walked by, I would savour the scent. I think it was the 'normal hair' variety and was a light yellow hew.
After awhile, I stopped using it - not for any particular reason, but because I heard somewhere that it isn't good to use the same shampoo month after month because your hair gets used to the formula.
Well, I have recently brought Charles and his formulas back...
