...I am determined to review all of Asda's children's sweets and so whenever I fancy a bag these are exactly what I reach for. The most recent bag I have eaten is that containing Asda Cheeky Monkey, which I would once again highly recommend. The Cheeky Monkeys cost 38p a bag, but once again can be bought on offer 3 bags for £1 making them even better value for money. The bag is a very bright and fun green making it appealing to children (and me) it contains the words Cheeky Monkeys in bright-multicoloured lettering and has a quite cute although strange looking monkey peering over the top. The front also tells me that the sweets contain no artificial colours or flavours and the back contains all the nutritional information necessary. ...I was browsing the fridge magnets and postcards in a gift shop in Stratford when I noticed a small display of cosmetics. The original plan was to buy a little something for my mum but something drew me to this display of Cheeky Chimp products and after spotting the lip balm I decided to treat myself as a souvenir of a lovely day out. I also picked up the obligatory box of fudge for both mothers and 'fun' novelty badges for the kids and think I definitely got the best deal with this balm. It's chocolate flavoured, how could I not love it? To be precise Cheeky Chimp have flavoured this particular lip balm with white chocolate, they also do milk chocolate or chocolate orange balms but I didn't see these until I'd already paid for my white one. Cheeky monkeys

Advantages: see the great work done at the sanctuary, laugh at the antics of the animals and fall in love with your favourite!
Disadvantages: only wish it was on more often!

...Since entering the wierd and wonderful world of cable television, one programme has quickly become a favourite of mine. "Monkey Business" on Animal Planet features the Monkey World Sanctuary in Wareham, Dorset. It was established in the 1980's by an American couple, Alison & Jim Cronin as a base for primates rescued from Europe. They currently house 45 chimpanzees and other primates such as orangutans. The beauty of this programme is that the personalities of each primate shines through and you find yourself getting to know individuals and quickly establishing favourites! My boyfriend says I'm a bit of a monkey (!) which is why I love this programme so much. Its true I can't resist the mischievousness of the chimpanzees! I'm always amazed at how human-like they are. A bit cheeky!

...I have quite a lot of CD albums in my collection, some compilations others just by one single artist/s. A few years back I found I was buying a new CD every week. Yes this addiction has calmed down now but I still have most of the CDs I bought back then! One of these albums is by the Cheeky Girls, and is called Party Time. The front of the album is a hot pink shade, much to my preference. Both Monica and Gabriella 'Cheeky' are posing on the front cover, wearing tiny t-shirts and pale hot pants. Naturally this would appeal to men (or that is the idea!), but the fun and idolising side apeals to a lot of young girls. Or at least it did until the likes of Miley Cyrus came along! On the back there is a track listing of all the songs to find. Putting in the CD you can explore the wonders of all twelve tracks. I will not talk about them all...

What a cheeky little monkey!

...What is it? This little monkey is an interactive toy from Hasbro, there are other newborns available in the range. This particular baby comes with his own bottle, has a soft plastic face, poseable arms and also the ability to move his head and body and make cooing and sleepy sounds. The photo is a very good representation of the actual toy, hence I haven't taken my own - the little bottle that comes with the monkey is white and pink and can be be placed in the monkey's mouth. Is it any good? I bought this for my eldest to give to the youngest for her third birthday, it was under ten pounds from Sainsbury's. At this price it was a bit of a bargain. The monkey is not quite as cuddly as he looks in the photo, as his body is filled with the motor that makes him move and his voice box, but he is quite a good size...

Cheeky Little Monkeys - Chimp and Zee!

Advantages: Big book ideal for nurseries or reading to multiple children. Beautiful pictures and wording.

Funky Monkeys, Cheeky Chimps and Ppppenguins!

Monkey Fun!

...Anyone who has read my previous review on That?s Not My Bunny will know just how much my youngest, 22 months, loves the book. When I was on a recent shopping trip I spotted this book which is also in the same collection so I just had to get it for him. The book is called That?s Not My Monkey. It is a chunky board book which has very thick pages and the cover of the book is green with a picture of monkey at the bottom and the title is above this in white lettering.
