...Walkers crisps are the original and one of the best in my opinion. The crisps are a good size and cut from good potatoes, it is very rare to find a bad crisp in your bag and this is great as I don't have to particularly worry about paying much attention when delving in to the bag and wolfing down a whole packet in 2 minutes flat! The crisps come in a foil bag (for freshness) with blue colouring (for cheese & onion) and the familiar Walkers logo as well as nutritional information, ingredients and further details on cooking methods, potatoes used and information on Walkers themselves. The bag is very informative and for the purposes of reviewing I had a good old read of the changes that have been made in recent years (less fat and better oil etc) and was astounded by the sheer amount of information that they feel necessary to print...

...I'm currently going through an addiction to these crisps, mainly because once I have one packet I need to have another and then possibly another. The extent of this addiction became apparent when I went through a 26 pack in around 5 or 6 days. -Flavour- I think the flavour on these crisps is quite strong and the taste does hover around in your mouth until you eat somethin else. I think it's this reasonably strong taste that means I can't just have one packet. ...advertised as having less calories I find that you get half the amount of crisps, however this wasnt the case with these. They appear very similar to regular Walkers crisps, unless you compared the two you wouldnt notice, I just found their appearance more matte (hard to explain) Now the most important bit...the taste, I have to admit i was surprised at how strong the flavour was, they taste practically the same as regular cheese and onion , I just found they werent as crunchy. Per 24g lights bag theres 113 calories and 0.5g saturated fat, in comparison the regular bag has 131 and 0.7g. For the tiniest amount of difference in flavour and testure I think this is a good difference in nutritional values. They still are arn't healthy and should be eaten as a treat but at least they're not as sinful! I would definately eat these again and am...

...Walkers Cheese & Onion crisps are very tasty. I opened the packet and they smelled actually like fresh onion, which is very unusual for a crisp flavour. This pack was part of a multi-pack and the bag is 25g. Standard single packs cost about 36p. The packet was just over half full with regular sized crisps. I think there should have been more in but the actual crisps tasted very nice - not too strong. The crisps had a crunchy texture and none were too large or small. There weren't any bad or burnt potatoes in there either. The bag is a sort of royal blue colour. For some reason, all crisp manufacturers over the years have used the basic colours of green for cheese & onion and some shade of blue for salt & vinegar. Not Walkers! ...I decided to purchase a packet of Walkers Baked Cheese & Onion today from Woolworths for 45p. I know now that I will stick to the original and normal cheese & onion crisps. From the packet you know that the crisps will be ridged but that is not the only difference. The texture of the crisp, with or wihout the ridges, is more like that of a Pringle. They have a coating on compared to the normal crisps, which I found all over my hands and it had that lovely fake orange look to it! Even the smell is different, which was obvious as soon as I opened the packet. Normally you are greeted with that lovely aroma of subtle cheese and tangy onions but this again smelled fake.
