...We stayed at the above hotel during October half-term 1999, and were quite excited at the prospect. However, on arrival, the excitement was short lived. We arrived at about 8.30pm, tired and hungry, after a very long day travelling, and found ourselves having to wait for an hour on the coach whilst the receptionist distributed room keys to the coach driver. The hotel was designed in the style of a wild-west ranch and the accommodation blocks were spread about in about a mile radius, needless to say, we were in the furthest block away from the reception/restaurant area. The rooms were en-suite, but very small, providing a double bed and bunk bed. Disney's Cheyenne Hotel - What An Amazing Place!!!

Advantages: So many to mention
Disadvantages: None at all

...::::: What is the Cheyenne Hotel::::: The Disney's Hotel Cheyenne is a wild west based theme hotel. It is made to look as if it is in the wild west, with horses, cowboys etc. You've seen all the movies. It does look real, and every detail has been put in to make it look "wild west". The main reception building, where the restaurant is, and other hotel buildings surrounding it have funky wild west writing on the sides of the buildings which says things like "Saloon" "Jail" and "Billy The Kid". This is a good idea, not the names of each hotel building but gives the hotel that extra feel of the hotel area. There are around 10 different hotel blocks, each separated. The main building is where most people go at breakfast, at dinner if they choose to eat there, or when they check in, or out. This is a good place to meet as a meeting point...

Disney Hotel Cheyenne, Wild Wild West!

...I went on a group visit to Business Live at Disneyland Paris at the beginning of March. Our accomodation was the Disney Hotel Cheyenne. The hotel is not your standard 1 building hotel, it is a hotel spread across a wide area - in this case Wild West themed buildings like the Sherrif hut, Bar etc etc. Our group was allocated block 16 - a nicely situated one near the bus stop. I was with 2 of my friends in which the bedrooms are made up of one bunk bed and one double bed - ideal for 2 kids 2 adults. The beds are nice and comfortable and ideal for collapsing onto after a day around the park. The room is very basic. It has a cowboy boot lamp and various sherrif stars around the room. They don't supply kettles and tea for morning use (that could just be that we were students - I'm not sure if there is meant to be one there), they...

Disneys Hotel Cheyeene

Advantages: Close to the parks
Disadvantages: Hard on the cash

...Disney`s Hotel Cheyenne. The western themed low rise hotel set in a few acres of groung and within easy walking distance of the park. Cost : If you are looking for a cheap Disney hotel holiday then you will be very hard pushed to find it. This is the cheap alternative to your high class Disneyland Hotel. The price you will pay is for B&B only. You are looking at a hefty £100 pound per night before adding on tickets etc. But it`s a dream come true so pay out to live the dream. Cheyenne - The Charm of the Old West

Advantages: Excellent value for money, breathtaking scenery, first rate outdoor pursuits
Disadvantages: Harsh winters, very tame nightlife

...Cheyenne is the state capital of Wyoming “The Equality State” and was my home on and off for two years from summer 2001 until 2003. It has a population of approximately 53,000 which is pretty sparse as American cities go but this is one of the factors that makes Cheyenne so endearing. Coming from one of the UK’s busiest and largest cities I had my concerns that I would find Cheyenne quite a shock to the system but I have many wonderful memories of the place and really hope that it does not change too much in the future. Cheyenne maintains the charm of the Old West whilst having all the main amenities of a modern city. Disneyland Paris & Hotel Cheyenne

Advantages: Lots for kids to do
Disadvantages: Hotel was awful and general attitudes in the park weren't great.

...This was our first trip to Disneyland Paris, and most likely will be our last. I'm now more tempted to save up for a holiday in Orlando, rather than go through this all again!!! We stayed at the Cheyenne Hotel, one of the Disney hotels. I had read a few reviews beforehand which didn't look too promising, but had already booked! On arrival, after travelling from 8.30am and arriving at the hotel at 5.30pm we were greated by a rather miserable looking lady on the check in desks! She gave us our passes, told us that as we were staying in the hotel we could enter the parks two hours early (8am) and then informed us the earliest breakfast she could offer was 9.45! Pretty pointless letting us know we could get into the park early then telling us we couldn't! We stayed in Geronimo which was the furthest building away from the parks...

...I have stayed at quite a few of the Disney Hotel and the Hotel New York is definitely my favourite. It is the second most expensive of the hotels to stay in (after the Disneyland Hotel) but has many advantages! This is also the smallest hotel on Disney property and has the advantage of having smaller and more intimate restaurants and virtually no queues for breakfast! Rooms: The rooms are bright and airy and are decorated with 'Big Apple' touches everywhere (see if you can find them!) If you can, as for a room on a high floor, water view as the view over Lake Disney at sunset/sunrise is amazing! All rooms feature air conditioning, satellite TV, in room safe, hair dryer and two double or one king size bed as well as writing desk and arm chair. Advantages: Great theming, lovely comfortable rooms, excellent value. Fantastic!

We're Going to the Wild Wild West

Advantages: Fairly reasonably priced for a Disney Hotel
Disadvantages: Pretty Basic

...In September 04 I planned a weekend away at Disneyland Resort Paris. I was basically looking for the best deal available and found the Hotel Cheyenne to be the cheapest 'on site' hotel at the time. If you travel slightly out of season, which is basically late September to April (except for school holidays and Christmas) you will find the price reduces dramatically! A room for 2 people including breakfast (continental) for 2 nights and entry to the Disney Parks cost about £129 per person. Travel is not included. THE HOTEL: The Cheyenne is situated approx 10 minutes walk or 3 minute drive (via free courtesy bus) from the Parks. The hotel is designed in 'Wild West' style. ...I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season.
