I'd had bought this years ago when I was younger and had promptly given up after becoming stuck on one of the earlier levels, four to six years later and a pound sign next to the title on Ciao! Children play and toys .

Advantages: learning without knowing it

...A toy, the dictionary definition of toy is an artefact designed to be played with. Play is the means by which children discover and understand the world in which they live a practice for life. Toys are the tools that are used to do this. I am a qualified nursery nurse, have taken courses in play therapy and have worked with children about 30 years I think that play is the most important activity for a developing child. Play is good for Adults too. Play does not need toys but they are a useful aid to play. There are so many toys available many more than when I was a child. There are Toys suitable for all ages. Nurofen for Children

Advantages: A great pain relief for children
Disadvantages: None

...My 6 year old son has been prone to ear infections since the age of two years old. He really suffers when an infection strikes and we have had nights where he has literally been screaming in pain all night. I rang my local Primary Care unit but they refused to see him until he'd had the pain 24 hours! They recommended that I keep him warm, comfortable and give him regular doses of Calpol alongside Nurofen for Children if possible. I regularly gave him Calpol when an ear infection occured, but it didn't seem to touch the sides with him with this kind of pain. Disadvantages: stains if it catches the clothes

...In my opinion I think Nurofen for Children is a very good product and value for money. I have been using Nurofen for children with my two daughters. I have used it when they had fever and when they had pain or teething discomfort. On each occasion that I have used it their symptoms disappeared within a short period of time. I think it is a very good product and would recommend it to any parent. If something is not valuable to me, I do not buy it a second time. However, I think Nurofen for children is very good and so I will continue to buy it. I also find that it has a great taste so the children do not shy away from it as much as they do with other medicines....

Disadvantages: You should not operate heavy machinery while watching this show!

Disadvantages: Only the larger Tesco stores stock them.

My sister went to an early morning session for her young baby, taking her two year old and he was even offered toast! As I said, very relaxed! There are two main rooms in my very local center, one bigger and the other one slightly smaller. The main room has two large (and very comfortable) sofa?s which such an array of toys available for all ages. They are high quality toys and range from simple play toys to educational toys. On warm days, the doors are opened into the small outside play area where more toys are kept including a water and sand table and chalk which the children are encouraged to write on both the ground and the walls! Tesco Toys

Advantages: prices are good, can be ordered mail order too, good choice

...I have been very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the toys for the prices that they are sold at in Tesco. They sell a fair range of toys. I find they are very definately for boys or for girls, don't do such a range of unisex toys (in my branch anyway). I have a son, and I have bought quite a lot of his toy cars and cuddlies (when baby) from here. The best value in my eyes is the wooden train sets. Trains/carriages are 99p each (they are the magnetic sort) and you can either buy a basic figure of eight track or a larger set that has trees, people, cows etc in. They have a wide range of accessories like - tunnel, level crosing, ticket office/station (with sounds), platform, turntable etc. The extra's start from about £3 each and are not that expensive. You can also buy extra packs of track, both curved and straight...
