It was excellent when Freddie was learning to hit toys on his gym, because it is rather large, so it was quite hard for him to miss. As he has grown older and more able, he now enjoys holding onto one of the fish dangling from the bottom and shaking the wind chimes with a great deal of force and making a huge racket. In fact, my 4 year-old insists on moving his gym to the other side of the room when she's trying to watch television, because the wind chimes are so noisy.
