...damage the area with any sharp knives that you may use. This is where having chopping boards come in really handy in the kitchen. As you regularly have to change you chopping board as the surface is damaged by sharp knives or over a period it starts to lose it colour. This is where I opt to use Tesco Plastic chopping boards as they are cheap. The last one I purchased was just a white plastic one...
