...The Corruptor is one of those action movies that doesn't really have a lot of ideas but is entertaining. Nick Chen (Chow Yun Fat) is one of the NYPD's most decorated officers. But he has used his close ties with the chinese triads to rise up through the ranks. A new young officer Danny Wallace is brought in to partner Chen and soon a turf war is errupting. Chen finds his loyalties divided and of course general guns and ammo with chop socky action ensues. Don't expect much and you should have a good time, this film does have a very good car chase scene but the whole triad thing seems to the main plot point of mnay action movies in recent years. Chow main for me

...I love Chinese food so much! But as it can be quite expensive I turn to the supermarkets to help me out. At Tesco's I can always rely on good prices, when I went to the Chinese food section i was impressed as they have a lot for selection. I am writing this review based on the fresh prepared ready meal of Tesco's own chicken chow main. It takes about 20 minutes to cook in the oven 190c/375f or in the microwave on full power for 5 minutes. I cook mine in the oven as I can do other jobs around the house while it's cooking and the smell coming from the oven always makes me want the food more and therefore enjoy eating it, but that could just be me and my weird eating habits. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Advantages: Easy to cook. Can use microwave.
Disadvantages: Fairly high salt content.

...I love Vesta Chow Mein it is so simple to prepare and it tastes great! Total preparation time is 25 minutes. Sometimes if my partner is late home I dont really want to be cooking a dinner late in the evening so the chow mein is good for providing a tasty meal in no time at all. You can cook on the hob or use a microwave, to be honest I have never cooked it on the hob as the microwave option is so easy as you can leave it cooking without having to watch it which means I can be getting on with other things. Quite simply empty the chow mein packet and the soft noodle packet into a bowl and stir in 525mls of boiling water then microwave for 5 mins then stir then microwave another 5 mins - easy peasy! With this dish you get crispy noodles which are divine, a little tricky to get right if you dont have a deep fat fryer like me...

...a deep fat frier or chip basket. Alternatively for people like me who don't have this modern paraphinalia, you can cook them in the good old frying pan in a bit of oil or fat. They don't take long and puff up into crisp like snacks to be served either on top of the chow mein or separately. Finally add the soy sauce to taste over the top and you are ready to begin the eating process. The texture of the actual soft noodles and chow mein is really as you would expect. The noodles are very soft, and easy to eat, and the slightly rougher texture of the vegetable and meat mix provides a good contrast. The crispy noodles are basically like crisps, with that crunchy texture and the melt in your mouth sort of effect. ...chow for me, every time I go to see a movie at the cinema - theres only one thing that'll keep me going if its a bad film - a bag of M and M's but a 500 gram doozie, not your smaller size, tell you what this size isn't a bad indication for if I enjoyed the movie or not - if theres any left then depending on how many, I usually enjoyed it, the more left at the end, the more I enjoyed the film, if we run out early and find ourselves running to the foyer to buy more, then the movies a stinker. (depending on wether bought from cinema or store anything from 69p to £1.99) Star Wars size (The 200 gram tubes - tube/lightsabre - get it?, jeez this is harder than I thought) - The type you usually find yourself bringing back with you for friends when you're on holiday (or in my case - empty tubes), they're meant to be kept for whenever you need...

Does Nugget Want Some Breakfast???

For a guy that has never had a dog, I had to learn the ropes the hard way, including toilet training him, walking him at least every day, and letting him getting plenty of exercise. I named him Nugget, and to this day I have fed him only two kinds of dog food: Iams Puppy food and, much more recently, Purina Puppy Chow, which he seems to like even more than Iams. Of course, it?s also better than me because a bag of Iams cost $7.60, and a bag of Purina is only $3.10?so I can get 2 Purina?s for the price of one Iams. Every time I grab that bag, he knows the sound all too familiar and starts running up and trying to jump on me even before I get near his bowl. He has finished his bowl twice every day, and even sniffs around afterwards to see if any loose kibble had fallen around...
