Advantages: Great comedy DVD, good comedian
Disadvantages: Not my favourite stand up

...When browsing through HMV a couple of months ago now, I found myself in the mood for trying something a bit different. I am a huge comedy fan, and knew that I wanted something from this genre, but not something that I?d ever seen before. I had a look through a lot of the stand up comedy DVDs, and ended up picking this Chris Rock DVD for a number of reasons. Firstly, it was only £5, which was pretty good since most standup offerings cost a tenner if not more, and with my student discount it would only set me back £4.50; secondly, I?ve only ever really seen British and Irish comedians? shows before, and so fancied something from over the pond; and thirdly, I?d heard great things about Chris Rock, and every time I?d seen a clip of one of his shows I thought that it looked great. Growing Up with Chris

Advantages: Loveable and good songs
Disadvantages: The album is very limited

...I can't say it is hard to get confused when it comes to this youngsters album, as Chris Brown released his debut album in late 2005, the album would appear with different versions and different covers (as highlighted by the wide variety of albums by the artist to review). All versions of the album went by the self-titled name of 'Chris Brown' however the track amounts vary from 8 to 15. For the purposes of this review, I shall be reviewing the eight track version of the album. Welcome to Chris Brown's world. When Chris Brown first burst on to the scene it would be with the single 'Run It', that is the first track on the album if you do not count the Intro (See The Light). Advantages: Well thought out story
Disadvantages: sometimes shallow

...seemed very surprised and gave me a funny look when I told her it was for me that worried me for a start. The story was interesting because firstly it centred on the lives of three very different contrasting characters that, only shared a wonderful talent. It was fascinating to see what happened to them as the novel went chronologically through all the highs and lows of their lives, all the main developments that went to make them all Rock Stars. Yes in some ways it was shallow, the way these fortunate people enjoyed such a lavish lifestyle. Full of beautiful young men and women who?s only leisure time pursuit seemed to be having sex. I had heard about it alot from other people and from reading reviews for other games systems so was excited when I saw it had come out for Wii. Rock God!!

Advantages: An awesome game that will keep you hapy

...cannot name all of these songs but know that most are good old fashioned rock songs. Some are newer than others but still are all great choices for this game. Here are some examples: 3's and 7's - Queens of the Stone Age Knights of cydonia - Muse Paint it black - Rolling stones One - Metallic Sabotage - beastie boys Bulls on parade - Rage against the machine Even flow - pearl jam The metal - tenacious D Sunshine of your love - Cream There are also many classics. This album has 9 tracks that are new and 1 previously released song that appeared on the soundtrack to the film “Caught” this being the song with Jonatha Brooke on vocals called “Forgiven”. Rock and roll for the masses

Advantages: Great actors and characters, enjoyable, great music
Disadvantages: It loses its way sometimes, a bit long

...of the top billed, his role is fairly brief. The two actors that do really stand out are Nick Frost as 'Doctor' Dave and Chris O'Dowd as 'Simple' Simon Swafford. Both are great comic actors; it is impossible to ignore either of them because their personalities are so big. Dave somehow manages to pull all sorts of women, despite the fact that he isn't the best-looking of men, obviously because of his larger-than-life personality, and Nick Frost makes this somehow seem really convincing.
