Miss Dior Cherie: A Captivating Fragrance
Advantages: Beautiful Design, Delicious Scent
Disadvantages: Price - But Do Elegance and Refinement Ever Come Cheap...?
...I can't say I was initially impressed when I received this perfume as a birthday gift: knowing and loving the original Miss Dior so well, and always sceptical of 'updated versions' of classic fragrances, I couldn't see how Dior could improve on what was, after all, the house's very first fragrance.
Yet I confess to having been captivated by Miss Dior Cherie.
**First Impressions**
What a beautiful bottle! This is surely where the influence of the original Miss Dior is most apparent: Cherie features the same embossed dog tooth design, both on the box and on the underside of the bottle. The elegant italicised script is also straight from Miss Dior.
The design is eyecatching - a must for collectors. The chunky square glass stopper and sweet silver bow instantly stand out. Though the glass is clear, the perfume itself lends...

My Cherie Dior
Advantages: Smells lovely, lasts all day.
Disadvantages: Price
...I first came across Miss Cherie Dior in one of my glossy magazines over Christmas last year. The perfume was being advertised over a two page spread with a small sachet tester in the corner. If I'm honest I have never been a real fan of Christian Dior perfumes and always found them too strong however curiosity gave way and I decided to tear the sachet open and have a whiff!
No sooner had I tore the sachet open I was hit by a strong fruity sweet smell. I liked it.
The advertisement claimed Miss Dior Cherie was inspired by Dior's Couture designer John Galliano. The perfume contains notes of Green Tangerine, Strawberry Leaves, Violet, Pink Jasmine, Wild Strawberry and sweet tones of Popcorn. The base tones are Patchouli Crystalline Musk. Christian Miss Dior Cherie - The Fruity Perfume
Advantages: a lovely light fuirty, youthful smell ideal for summer
Disadvantages: not deep enough scent for evening use

Bottle:
A pink coloured bottle with a silver pointed figure as the bottle top. The bottle is square in shape and fairly easy to use, hold, but not very practical to carry around with you inyour hand bag.
The pink and shoe design bottle is supposedily aimed at the younger - paris hilton adoring market.
Smell:
A fruity and fresh scent with lavender, jasmine leaves and raspberry makes this perume truely delicious and ideal for summer. Being a fan already of the Dior perfumes I purchased this one as was hunting around the counter for a new smell - one i could wear during the day to make me feel happier during the summer heat.
A light scent which stays on your wrists all day until you shower I highly recommend this product. It's great to know that once...

Advantages: Great smell, long lasting, do not need much at a time.

...I love Christian Dior products, so when I was in Boots a couple of years ago and saw that Dior had a new fragrance out, I just had to have a sniff!
Well, my first impressions were great. This is a very nice fragrance, it has a slightly sweet fruity smell, and is noticed wherever I go.
The bottle is a square shaped, with a lovely tactile bow shaped lid. It is a very easy bottle to identify for me as I have no sight, which is an advantage, as I don't need to keep removing lids, smiles.
The perfume lasts well once sprayed, and not much is needed, which makes the perfume last longer.
It is slightly on the pricy side, but as with most fragrances I have purchased, I feel it is worth it.
There are also other items in the same range, such as body lotion and shower gel, which enableds layering to be carried out, which also...

CHRISTIAN DIOR - EAU SAUVAGE
Advantages: An expensive smell

Eau Sauvage Eau de Toilette comes in a rather nice bottle. It has swirly ridges all around the glass. To the middle it has a silver band with the Eau Sauvage written in black writing, along with the maker Christian Dior, Paris. To the reverse you have the weight of 50 ml and parfums Christian Dior Paris. Made in France. The lid is silver and mottled in effect, which is also on the silver band around the centre of the bottle. This is a good quality bottle, as you would expect from a top fashion house such as Christian Dior. Very distinctive, and it is a nice bottle to keep once the after shave has run out. Perfume bottles are highly collectable and it would be worth keeping good ones such as these, as they appreciate in value greatly.

Beautiful!
Advantages: Everything!

...I have to say miss dior cherie is one of my alltime favourite perfumes.
It is really sophisticated yet sexy. Its similar to coco chanel madamoiselle
but a little lighter and more floral.
It is perfect for romantic outings and going out but it could also be worn
during the day. I am a big fan of most dior perfumes. You cannot go
wrong with them! Great value for money as the perfumes last,
you grow accustomed to the smell and sometimes put more on i find.
Miss Dior Cherie is in a gorgeous bottle also and it really lasts, two
squirts and you can smell it for hours, I get alot of compliments when i wear
this perfume!
My boyfriend loves the smell and is also a massive fan of dior addict 2!
If you want something alot lighter and fruity thats definatly one to go for!...

I Have Another Addiction - Dior Addict!
Advantages: Sensually sexual and unique
Disadvantages: Can be expensive so look around
...then left it at that.
Fortunately for me; my partner picked up on my previous hint, so while we were out in Holland he bought me a 50ml bottle of the Eau De Parfum Natural Spray. I was wearing the biggest smile for days after getting this perfume... Lucky me!

Christian Dior Addict 2 Eau de Toilette Spray

...This is the new Addict 2 spray by Christian Dior. It comes in a pink cute box that is feminine and girly. The bottle is also pink, but see through and is in the same shape as the original Addict.
It lasts for a long time when worn on the skin and does not over power when sprayed ontop of clothes. It fades out slowly. It has a light, sweet fragrance that reminds you of childhood, romance, summer days and dancing. It is young and girly. Perfect if you want to re-connect with your female self. For a young girl or teenager it is an extention of personality. For someone who is older it shows that underneath their out fit they are still alluring and delicate.
It is a soft scent with out being so subtle that you need to spray lots on to be able to smell it. It is fresh and seductive. It is a wake up shower of soft pinkness. It is great...

Christian Dior Addict 2 - I'm certainly addicted!
Advantages: Very pleasant smell, lasts all day
Disadvantages: Expensive (if you're a student like me!)
...I'm one of those people that can't say no to a bargain, so when I was browsing around Boots' New Years sale at the beginning of the year, I was delighted to find a whole array of brand named, low price perfume.
I usually wear Next's own, 'Mi Amor eau de toilette' as it has a very pleasant fruity smell and lasts most of the day. I was diverted away from my usual scent to Christian Dior Addict 2 eau de toilette.

When it's first put on, the perfume has a tangy floral scent. You get a hint of citrus, which comes across sweet, but not overpowering. With this, there's a smell of rose - again, not overpowering.
