The bottle is square in shape and fairly easy to use, hold, but not very practical to carry around with you inyour hand bag. The pink and shoe design bottle is supposedily aimed at the younger - paris hilton adoring market. Smell: A fruity and fresh scent with lavender, jasmine leaves and raspberry makes this perume truely delicious and ideal for summer. Being a fan already of the Dior perfumes I purchased this one as was hunting around the counter for a new smell - one i could wear during the day to make me feel happier during the summer heat. To the middle it has a silver band with the Eau Sauvage written in black writing, along with the maker Christian Dior, Paris. To the reverse you have the weight of 50 ml and parfums Christian Dior Paris. Made in France. The lid is silver and mottled in effect, which is also on the silver band around the centre of the bottle. This is a good quality bottle, as you would expect from a top fashion house such as Christian Dior. Very distinctive, and it is a nice bottle to keep once the after shave has run out. ...I first came across Miss Cherie Dior in one of my glossy magazines over Christmas last year. The perfume was being advertised over a two page spread with a small sachet tester in the corner. If I'm honest I have never been a real fan of Christian Dior perfumes and always found them too strong however curiosity gave way and I decided to tear the sachet open and have a whiff! No sooner had I tore the sachet open I was hit by a strong fruity sweet smell. I liked it. The advertisement claimed Miss Dior Cherie was inspired by Dior's Couture designer John Galliano. The perfume contains notes of Green Tangerine, Strawberry Leaves, Violet, Pink Jasmine, Wild Strawberry and sweet tones of Popcorn. The base tones are Patchouli Crystalline Musk. I didn't think there was anything in this world that would convince me to wear any variant, until one day I came across a sample of Hypnotic Poison in a magazine. This little piece of cardboard impregnated in fragrance remained in my wallet for weeks - I kept taking it out and every time I did, I fell more in love with its musky, vanilla notes, and the sweetness of jasmine, which has always been one of my favourite scents. ...This is the second one of my three planned perfume reviews for this weekend. As mentioned in my Review of Dolce Vita, I did some perfume testing at a Dior counter on Friday. I've been exploring Dior very gradually. Most of their fragrances are very distinctive, some are even hard to like. It's good that they don't release insipid crowd pleasers every few months, but I've just been able to handle a bit at a time. The outcome is that Hypnotic Poison is my second favourite of the three and an absolute must have. As the picture shows, it's the red one among the Poison bottles. The box is a matching but darker mottled red. I might be a bit slow in catching up on fragrances. It often seems when I try a fragrance that I've actually known it for a while. It was the same in this case, and initially I was slightly disappointed for that reason...
