...I absolutely adore Christmas, possibly even more so now I am a mum and I can get excited for Harry as well! I put my Christmas up as soon as it turns December the first and I love putting loads of baubles on, as many as I can squeeze on in fact! When I was younger, I remember my mum always used to buy us some Cadburys Chocolate decorations, which we were allowed as a treat occasionally. I was shopping in Sainsburys the other day and saw a packet of the very same decorations, so I couldn't resist getting some for Harry's tree! Cadburys are well known for their delicious chocolate, in particular their signature bar which is Dairy Milk. These Cadbury Tree Decorations are also made of their milk chocolate, and are a fantastic treat for you or your children at Christmas! A Spanish Christmas...

...I'm a bit of a scrooge when it comes to Christmas, I don't particularly like it although I do buy people really good presents - so I'm told. I don't get excited anymore like I did when I was a child, which I suppose is normal. But my boyfriend and his family are Christmas Crazies! I went to their house last night and it's honestly like Santa's Grotto! Flashing lights, santa climbing down the side of window, alternating rudolphs and santas on the stairs, it's mental. I love how daft they all go around Christmas and how much they appreciate being able to be around their family, whereas my family aren't really as close as that so Christmas isn't a special day for us. It's Christmas!

Advantages: Lovely pictures, simple words, love the tab format
Disadvantages: None

...(the pictures are just in a different order to my copy) are also different, but I guess this isn't that important in the scheme of things, as long as the content is the same! It's a very appealing cover and one Harry always goes to when I tell him to go and find a Christmassy book for us to share on the sofa or in bed. The content itself is simple but this is what makes it so perfect for toddlers who are starting to get the English Language, and basic picture and word recognition as well. As you turn the first page, you are greeted by a lovely Christmas tree scene with a young family decorating the tree. The picture is beautifully done, with lovely images, bright colours and lovely gold foiling highlights used across the picture to give it a bit of a special feel! This is on the right hand page, and on the opposite page is the glossary...

...As i have just moved house, we decided that we need some new telephones, as the ones we did have were grotty and old and falling to bits basically. So me and the wife went out to currys and bought 4. Yes 4. One for the living room, one for the kitchen, one for the bedroom (which wakes you up) and one for the study for the internet. Third Best 'A Christmas Carol' film

It's possibly one of the most re-told stories of all time and probably has more film-isations than any other book, possibly even trumping the bible. This is Walt Disney's third re-telling alone for God?s sake. Anyway for those who live in a hole or have dementia, A Christmas Carol is the story of Ebonezer Scrooge (Jim Carey) and is passage by fire from twisted, grumpy, old miser who hates Christmas to the very opposite (except he stays old). After the death of Scrooge's business partner, Scrooge has got even more miserable and spiteful than ever and everyone fears and avoids him. ...I love Christmas movies , me! Without festive movies , Christmas isn't Christmas! You just have to have Christmas Movies! I find they really get me in the Christmas spirit! I could watch Christmas movies all year round without getting tired of them , although I do find I enjoy them so much more around the festive time. I can watch Christmas movies in the Summer and instantly get excited and can't wait for Christmas! One movie which has become a big favourite of mine is : This Christmas. ...I would just like to write a review on my plans for Christmas 2009, now that we are actually in fact now already in to the month of December. Sadly, they won't quite go according to how the family in general planned it as my grandmother sadly passed away yesterday (30th November) at the age of 90. But as the saying goes, that's life. Still, that is not to say that Christmas will not be an enjoyable time as we can look back at the more happier times this year anyhow. So how will I be planning on spending Christmas this year? Work I currently am not in paid employment, so I can be safe in the knowledge that although I shall miss all of the nurses' tea total parties I do not actually to worry about having to going to work actually on Christmas Day in itself. ...I bought this DVD about 2 years ago for myself when I was at University and Christmas was coming up. I was missing my family a lot, and I always saw these shows with my parents every year from when I was about 3 years old. So I knew it would be a great thing for me to watch to feel Christmassy. And this morning I was sorting out my Christmassy films and I found this one on the shelf. Harry grabbed it and kissed Father Christmas, so I put it on for my son's first ever viewing of the classic The Snowman and Father Christmas. Both of these are stories by the wonderfully talented Raymond Briggs bought to life in animated short stories. The Snowman is probably the best known Christmas story there is for young children, dating all the way back to 1982, 4 years before I was even born! Skipping Christmas

Advantages: Witty and enjoyable
Disadvantages: Quite short and not expanded enough

...on a 12 day cruise to the Caribbean, rather than have a lonely Christmas without their daughter. This was something once considered they were both really looking forward to. But oddly enough something all their friends and neighbours found perplexing and even plain weird. So whenever anyone came round in the build up to the big day, to sell them seasonal goods such as Calendars, cards or even fruit cakes they simply told them they were skipping Christmas this year. Meanwhile in their small middle class street preparations for the festive season where in full swing. A highly organised and proud neighbourhood where putting all their lights, frosties and decorations out for the world to see. As the road seeks to win the award for the best festive decorations in the area. Only one house has none and one house has let the neighbourhood down...
